For years, this was mostly impossible but now, after installing a few libraries and a KEYSDB.cfg file, I am able to play commercial BR with VLc. With the following set of commands, I was able to play O Brother Where Art Thou and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World with no issues whatsoever. sudo apt-get install vlc libbdplus0 libbluray-bin libaacs0 libbluray-bdj libbluray2 mkdir -p ~/.config/aacs/ cd ~/.config/aacs/ && wget http://vlc-bluray.whoknowsmy.name/files/ KEYDB.cfg There is now _no_ good reason to return to Windows. -- SilverSlimer Ubuntu 18.04 on MSI GT72 2QD Never apologize Liberalism - One picture, one thousand words: https://kek.gg/i/4xGRhd.jpg Highly recommended reading: - Big Brother: The Orwellian Nightmare Come True (https://kek.gg/u/SrmB) - Questioning Islam: Tough Questions and Honest Answers About the Muslim Religion (https://kek.gg/u/35jND) "Well, I was wrong, for once." - chrisv, being honest, for once.

However, it was important for me to be able to play the discs on my laptop as well. I'm glad to see that the process has improved tremendously since 2006 and that VLC can now play them in-house as long as the right libraries and key are installed. It's a lot faster and less invasive than playing a Blu- Ray in Windows to say the least.

It is easy to essentially lie by bragging about a few outliers unrepresentative from what's mainstream. What matters more from an advocacy standpoint are the non-exceptional usages. This is clearly a hobby of Onion Knight's. Learning Scrivener... still an initiate. Now Chris Ahlstrom on the other end of the phone doesn't matter. All that matters is Onion Knight gets to deliver his flood. So how to deal with this? Don't do anything but ignore the phone. Reason isn't part of plot and never was planned to be. The guy is as loved as a wet dog at a parlor social -- and with good cause. Onion Knight is far too stupid to write a useful script. The only scripting he's capable of doing is automating mouse clicks. Richard Stallman is a false advocate's biggest fear. Cinnamon is perhaps my second favorite DE and the only one I suggest to Linux morons. Primary interface is LXQt, though. A good toolchain is all you need after all. -- "You'll notice how quickly he loses interest when everything is about him. He clearly wants the attention" Steven Petruzzellis, making the dumbest comment ever uttered.

Marek admitted Carroll repeatedly asked him to lie:
Marek <NPWdnVgF_NwsozXEnZ2dnUU7-YvNnZ2d@giganews.com>:
-----
When I first tried to broker peace between you [Steve Carroll] and
Snit, you emailed me over and over again asking be to lie about
Glasser.
-----
And then Marek later admitted he DOES lie, but claimed he does it simply because it pleases him to do so:
Marek <keCdnc7hoMqpfy3EnZ2dnUU7-YHNnZ2d@giganews.com>:
-----
| Why do you post your attacks and insults and lies if not to please
| the herd?
I do it to please me, Snit.
-----
Whatever his reason for lying, even Marek admits he lies and attacks and insults.

Turns out Snit Glasser's non-stop flooding comments of Chris Ahlstrom met his own definition of trolling, so he abandoned that, too. It's like a prank call. Snit Glasser has already decided what he is going to say before he calls. What you say is ignored. What Chris Ahlstrom says does not matter. I am not infuriated, to the contrary, I am enjoying watching because Snit Glasser's idiocy is so obvious. He purposefully did not introduce all the tasks that he would inevitably dismiss... and we all know why, Snit Glasser is too stupid to see why. At least he has his own socks rushing to his rescue ;) Too much glue for you, gluehead. Just bullshit from him. But Snit Glasser has thoroughly left technology behind and is just holding me at fault for the exploits of himself. You guys can only rationalize from the perspective of a sociopath. Dropping support for command line holdovers is common sense. That is the problem today and less experienced pupils don't know what they are doing; people from earlier generations (~40 years old) are the only ones who know better than to fall for the New World agenda. -- E-commerce Simplified http://www.5z8.info/stalin-will-rise-again_j3h5uj_nakedgrandmas.jpg https://redd.it/6sfkup https://youtu.be/HHT9SJgYsH4 Jonas Eklundh Communication

Currently there are too many "it just works" freetards and not enough old school users with the patience to help the people with bricked PCs. In fact Klaus Schadenfreude's lies got bigger. So needless to say I regret writing software for Klaus Schadenfreude. While I am sure his shills appreciated it, he has taught me to never try to appease a troll. Gnome 3 ran fine on my Core i3 from 2010 so I would be surprised that it would run that slow unless your machine is much slower than that processor. -- SilverSlimer Ubuntu 18.04 on MSI GT72 2QD Never apologize Liberalism - One picture, one thousand words: https://kek.gg/i/4xGRhd.jpg Highly recommended reading: - Big Brother: The Orwellian Nightmare Come True (https://kek.gg/u/SrmB) - Questioning Islam: Tough Questions and Honest Answers About the Muslim Religion (https://kek.gg/u/35jND) "Well, I was wrong, for once." - snitv, being honest, for once.

My desktop is a dual-core so, yeah, it's a bit older, but I just tried Ubuntu 18.04 and it worked fine. I might even get to like Gnome 3, IF they made an easy, consistent way to move the panel to the bottom. In Gnome 2 it was so easy. I want my panel on the bottom. Why do they make it so hard to do that? -- The more I see of Windows, the more I like Linux.

That is the problem today and American students don't stand a chance, people from earlier generations should know better than to fall for the New World agenda. I suspect we have two different notions about Prescott Computer Guy. Prescott Computer Guy showed himself to be a wolf in sheep's clothing by pretending to not debate Takuya Saitoh by means of shouting *plonk* and then assaulting him again via a 3rd party. Can emoticons be concatenated into a string with a logical connection to the "real" world; that is the question posed recently by those astonished at the non-stop flood of gibberish from trolls and basement-dwelling ultra-cranks. And given how regularly it is clear that Prescott Computer Guy's .sig file is some skew of a narrative Takuya Saitoh shared which had been a bodyslam on Prescott Computer Guy for something he did which was crazy/wrong/etc... its really a repeated gesture of Prescott Computer Guy's ever-present unease for having been so often crushed: Prescott Computer Guy is undeniably incapable of being shown a mirror. See: I noted examples of Prescott Computer Guy attacking Takuya Saitoh, failing to rise up and instead putting others down, etc. His response: to beg your herd to come rescue you. What it looks like can be skinned and not worth obsessing over, especially if it's open source.
