To me the stuff was self evident without knowing who was behind it,
you disagree. I figure if you were that interested about the evidence
behind what you're arguing you'd do the research yourself.

Ah, the old "self evident" excuse to avoid the fact you have no support,
along with your signature dishonest snipping.

LOL! You cannot back your claims so you work to turn things around and
say *I* should be supporting the opposite.

Too damned funny to see you at your "finest"!

You’ve missed it, you’re arguing that PolitiFACT *is* factual with no
evidence other than they use the word “FACT” in their name ;)

A fact is something you are required to show evidence for, it’s not merely a
statement someone *labels* a “fact”.

You have NOTHING to back your view so you want to turn the burden of
proof around. Good try. Not biting... other than to note that Politifact
DOES show their sources, etc. If you think they are not showing their
evidence then point to the rating you mean and speak of the evidence
they get wrong or miss.

But, and this is 100% predictable, you will not. You will instead blame
me, work to turn around the burden of proof, snip content you cannot
handle, directly lie, project your personal problems onto me, etc.

Does it not bother you how amazingly predictable your trolling is. Hey,
you have not whined about my degree as an out to you actually showing

They are rating and then giving percentages of “truth”, in order to do that they
need to know exactly what the truth is (half-truths need not apply) on *eveything*.
How do you propose to show that every single assessment of *theirs*is accurate
and truthful? No one can do this, which is why only idiots fall for this stuff.

In your opinion... which isn't worth much... as I will once again show. I'll
even take your ridiculously blatant partisanship out of it for a sec ( I
know that's an impossible task).

In your opinion, when they showed Bernie's"statements" as registering at
15% truthfulness and HRC's at 24%, you don't believe they cherry picked
the data to create such a display on a page which headlined with:
"The Final Five -- on the Truth-O-Meter"

Do you *really* believe that what Politifact labeled as "All False
statements involving Hillary Clinton" actually *were* "ALL the false
statements made by HRC during the campaign?

(or is the headline on that page "Pants on Fire" level BS?)

In order to go along with what you've been peddling you'd have to,
at the least, believe both of those things they've pushed. That's why
I say you have zero credibility on discussing Politifact. My money says
you can't even spot the issue with them labeling this "False":

<http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2018/apr/02/donald-trump/trump-usps-postal-service-amazon-losing-fortune/>

And I'd double the bet that you can't you spot the false statement
Politifact is making as they perform their (ahem) 'rating' here.

It is simply a fact that you have not, until now, presented a link to a
rating you claim is biased, and even now when you do you ask ME to
fulfill your burden of proof and see if I can find some way it is
biased. No thanks... not here to help you, I am here to see if you will
eventually back your claims (and to watch you squirm and try to turn
things around over and over).

Also will note you twist their page where you say they present all
relevant ratings in one place with the idea they are presenting ratings
on all comments made by someone, whether they rated them or not. They
never suggest, and even directly counter, the idea that they rate ALL
comments made by anyone.

You still have not provided a link to a rating AND your reasoning as to
why you think it is biased, and you still pretend they are rating ALL
comments made by people, which is directly contrary to what they note
they are doing.

You have provided, of course, multiple easily quoted lies as you do
this, and you have repeatedly worked to turn things around and either
put me on the defensive or push your burden of proof onto me.

Simple, easy examples of you acting in dishonest ad otherwise immoral
ways. Interesting to watch.

"All False statements involving Hillary Clinton"? True, but I have now.

The ones they list are for her 2008 and 2016 election campaigns,
making the suggestion even sillier. Of course, at some point, the
drugs will wear off and you may (but probably not) realize that
selectively including statements is *how* you can make anything
look any way you want it to look.

Are people still debating this?

So, yeah, I buy into my own fancy, fully knowing flatfish+++ has been fooled, because it makes me reconsider my code, improving it. Pull up a record check on flatfish+++ and you will learn that he was in a penitentiary more than once. I do not know what for. The investigation sites fail to go into that extent of specificity and legal reports apparently have to be subpoenaed. You are as dumb as a shoe. I will squash beetles with my brain.

No one here has ever read my program, much less found a bug; still, in my auxiliary brain, I'm thinking, "I have dark thoughts in the middle of the night". Real discussion will leave once the trolls overpopulate. That, and there will repeatedly be a mentally unstable element or more in an unmoderated usenet group (hello Bill 'The Flooder' Cunningham). The current crap aside, we've all seen who often gets enraged when he does not get a catch on his hook. If you have 'file.doc' open in a user space program such as gedit and Bill 'The Flooder' Cunningham wants to change its name to 'windows.txt' via a hot key, Doc O'Leary's method might be wise.

With no reason at all, as is usual for Bill 'The Flooder' Cunningham. Trinity is likely my second favorite DE and the only one I recommend to computer morons. Primary interface is Cinnamon, though. A modern look is all you want after the initial learning curve. BTW, I've already pointed out that his use of "herd" to describe true advocates is libel, since he's likening them to mindless automatons. Already moved on from that. You are too slow! You do realize that the massive floods ending up in multiple groups started out as a joke about hacking Google.

Everyone is Barry 'The Moron' Margolin -- the oldest gag in the book. I thought showing him some kindness might help the situation. It did not. He'd have to be suffering from a form of insanity to be unsure of if he "once had" developed System76 with JF Mezei. Sound like anyone in here? When someone can not remember his past claims and makes use of bogus, self-image saving idiocy later, it's extremely obvious what his ploy is. It's trivial to pick by focusing on hardly any special cases unrepresentative from what's the norm. What is more honest from an honest advocates way of thinking are the non-exceptional circumstances. I have known grade school kids who argue better than Barry 'The Moron' Margolin does. A sucking vacuum of ideas, magnified by the reciprocal of a mere moment in a cosmological time scale, demonstrating the vast nothingness of the main character's so-called thought process. Are you being transparent on purpose?

Hell, just recently Steve Carroll was declaring himself the only "true Linux advocate", and claiming that "advocates" (in irony-quotes to try to paint them as the bad guys) are actively working against the success of desktop Linux.

By the way, spending time learning is never a waste. Asserting you know all and working to persuade Takuya Saitoh that it is true, as Steve Carroll tries to do? That is a waste ;)

Certainly there are cultural issues that are holding them back, as a
group. When scholastic success is looked-down upon as "acting white",
that's a problem.

When someone does well, despite their disadvantages, it deserves as
much consideration as their SAT score. It's just plain *easier* for
the rich/white kids to get "the numbers".

The white man has done the same thing to entire countries. Ruined
them with our "charity".

Anyone who would fall for the propagandist's bullshit obviously has no
idea what it is to be "oppressed".

And that's another huge issue I completely forgot about.

I'd probably take the word "rich" out of it because it sorta dilutes
the point but... yeah.

Context is always the key. There will always be discrimination, and it'll
go in both directions. But how can anyone argue that whites are as
financially oppressed as the black community? They can't:

<https://www.kff.org/other/state-indicator/poverty-rate-by-raceethnicity/?currentTimeframe=0&sortModel=%7B%22colId%22:%22Location%22,%22sort%22:%22asc%22%7D>

We can argue the causes... how much more, or less, does what happened
in the past affect today and we probably never will come up with anything
resembling a solution. Or we can do what you mentioned elsewhere in a
different context but still applies here (in my opinion):

"What's important is what living people are thinking and doing."

That's not to say we should completely forget the past, just that you
won't change as much going forward if you keep using the past as the
reason for not moving forward. No one is immune to that reality. On
something like affirmation action, while I disagree with the idea in
principle, I understand why it was done. There are no easy answers.
Should cops in a predominantly black, low income, high crime area
engage in profiling? Again, while I disagree, I understand the reason
for doing so in what is tantamount to a war zone.

Great quote by the 'IT Master' ;)
