Example: over a year ago, the "production" version of LibreOffice included a feature called 'Expert Configuration' (Tools | Options | LibreOffice | Advanced | Expert Configuration). It was a list of nearly 15,000 (wtf?) system properties and configuration options. You could edit about 2/3 of them, but the list couldn't be sorted or searched or filtered, and there was no documentation behind it whatsoever. Total and complete hobby shit released well before it was ready.
