That is pretty much what they are like - and sadly you sometimes join them.

to.

The ball is in you COLA morons' court to not crosspost your hateful
bullshit about Snit. Tell the trolls in COLA to leave
alt.comp.os.windows-10 out of that, and you won't have to worry about
me, because I could not care less about COLA.

It seriously is a dead end of a newsgroup. I go in there out of habit
but I think that I'd lose fewer brain cells in the aging process if I
stayed out of it. It's a Snit show, but it's not even Snit's fault; the
"advocates" are absolutely bedazzled and enamored with him and simply
can't post a thing without mentioning him.

The sad thing is this thread was started in the Windows 10 group and was
about Windows and the trolls followed me there, changed the topic, and cross
posted it to COLA.

Why?

If they had any integrity, they'd realize that it's hypocritical to
post their nonsense to the Win10 group, when they're claiming to want
to clean up their group. Oh well, let them keep proving our point.

In multiple cases I have removed the Win10 group from my responses or even
posted separate threads on the same topic to work to keep them out.

They follow me anyway.

They are obsessed with getting "revenge" on me for not sinking to their

Please confine your trolling to the Windows group where it belongs.

In case you were not aware, "Joel Crump" is an ancient sock puppet of
snit's. I suspect when he tried to post from Forte' Agent he screwed
up so now he is going to town with the nym to make it appear he and
Joel are 2 different people.

Now what are the odds of a person:

1. Supporting snit
2. Having the same name as one of his former sock puppets.
3. Appearing out of nowhere in the same groups snit posts in.

Looks astronomically high to me.
Much like snit.

You are confused. Someone using the ID "scooz" attacking "Snit"

Oddly, that is the same idiot "scooz" who followed up in support of your

Because you have balls and don't take shit, Nobody is going to claim
that you're /me/ now. That's Nobody's only strategy for silencing his
opponents because, as a Linux user, he is unable to use his brain at all.

If their goal is to turn people away from Linux, they're probably
succeeding. Even before I visited COLA, I had met Linux users with
similar hostile attitudes. I'm not saying that all Linux users are
like that, of course, but there is definitely a tendency to be
arrogant, intellectually dishonest jerks, among them.

One of my co-workers is a Linux loser himself and before I arrived as a
permanent member of the school, he enjoyed telling the people in our
technological department all sorts of lies about Linux's capabilities.
When I arrived, I had to correct all of his lies and call him out for
the bullshit he spread about its stability, its supposed ability to play
Blu-Ray "out-of-the-box" and its hardware support. Needless to say, he's
not as vocal as he used to be. People now turn to _me_ for advice about
their technological needs and ignore him completely, especially since
his answer to everything has traditionally been "use Linux!"

Go figure. ;) It's almost funny how lame advocates' arguments are,
but it's really more sad.
