Sadly mental illness is rampant these days and because it's not like the patient is bedridden with 104 fever it often gets minimized or overlooked completely. Hopefully he has some family support to assist in the decision making process as it relates to treatment options because choosing the wrong type or method of treatment can easily cause irreparable damage to the individual. -- Meat Why do they call you Meat? And you assume incorrectly. I did talk about saving a single PDF from a
recipe or lesson plan or art project or whatever... and in my example I used
a recipe. Here was the "task" and how I accomplished it:
* From a single online recipe (or art project, lesson plan, whatever) save
it and email a PDF version where you add notes to it. Now I know this can be
done on Linux; save, open, edit, email. Just curious to see how you people
would generally do it and how streamlined the workflow would be. A couple
ways I might: <https://youtu.be/NPM_WldEBs0>.
I did not find his post with a quick search, but I see where I posted this
to him:
-------
By the way, you asked about converting a bunch of web pages to a
PDF (another of your goal posts moves). My first thought was why
would you ever want to? Then I remembered a time I *did* want
to... when Sandman in CSMA was lying for some unknown reason about
his CSS validating. So I wrote a program to get every link from
the WayBackMachine for his site, test that against the W3
validation services, and then combine those into a PDF. I made a
few different versions and tested his HTML, too:
<http://tmp.gallopinginsanity.com/sandmancheck-css.pdf>
-------
Anyway, it lead to this challenge... one where Owl moved goal posts... but
even then I did not care. I took on the challenge.
* Download as PDFs all the recipes from the homepage of allrecipes.com (Owl
is the one who suggested this). I did several versions... here is one:
<https://youtu.be/_J4PppWroWY>. Mine not only worked, but the PDF had
selectable text and allowed me to do quick searches on ingredients and the
like... something Owl was never able to do on Linux. Worked so well that he
and Peter Köhlmann insisted it must have been faked.

I talked about downloading / converting *a* file to a PDF... doing so with
OS X's PDF Services in my case.
Owl moved goal posts to doing so with a bunch of recipes from a specific
site.

Obvious question: Why have so many jumped to similar "bizarre conclusions"? You're never able to reasonably explain this. Your *best* reasonable effort was to claim that you are a rare "breed" of honest. If that were true, why have so many stated they believe otherwise? How is everyone so wrong about you, Snit?
