I'd be willing bet that the asshole could not name any products that
he has bought, where he systematically tried every choice, before
choosing one.

I guess that desktop Linux must be some magical exception to the rule,
since there is no "consensus to a clear, single answer" to what Joe
Sixpack should use.

Oh, wait, that describes every market in the planet.

Maybe the real problem is a failure to "provide the consumer insight
so that he doesn't have to go try each one himself."

Oh, wait, the exact same research options exist in this market as in
any other. Descriptions, reviews, and recommendations are easy to
find. (Cue some fscktarded asshole: "But they don't all agree!" as if
reviewers of other products all agree.)

-highhorse is, simply, a *ridiculous* liar, a *shameless* idiot, and a
*fscking* asshole.

And that makes you wonder how he could possibly know what anyone is
saying since he claims he has the huge killfile. From his posts I'm
beginning to understand why his employer lets him fuck with usenet during
the workday.

I keep hoping that chrisv will one day stop posting idiocy and transform
into something other than the abrasive asshole that he insists on being
but I guess that I'm doing so in vain.

LOL! Here's a question for you to run from:

Who *wasn't* called a liar by Snit?

Hint: At one point he even broke down and made the ridiculous claim

My point is proved over the last few days. Look at all the lies from cc and
Carroll and "Nobody" AKA "Onion Knight" (the current one). Look at Peter and
ronb and the rest of the herd.

They are not honest people. I stand by that.

First note how most of these are not even from CSMA or COLA. They are not
relevant to ANYTHING in those groups. They ARE tied to Carroll's obsession
with my life. Without going into too much detail or even clicking the posts:

The ones from 1996 are likely about the jobs I had shortly after college. I
worked for a foundation that worked with one of the largest school districts
in the country (about 200 schools at the time) and about 100 United Way
agencies. I was the system admin and in charge of tech support and training.
I resigned and moved to Tucson.

The ones from the early 2000s: I had worked for a middle school and ended up
losing the job after they had to call 9-1-1 for me a number of times based
on health concerns I was having at the time (since then I have found it was
tied to my dysautonomia). So my health ended up leading me to losing a job
(but I was not fired). I then got a job working at Intuit. Worked there
until I moved.

But here is the bigger question: why the hell would ANYONE dig though
multiple groups and care one whit about my personal and professional life? I
mean, really, this is done for NO other reason than to bully and attack. It
is NOT about anything even slightly relevant to COLA. Not one bit.

Do you see me harping on when and why Carroll lost his girlfriend and wife?
OK, apparently both left him... but as far as I know his wife never even
posted to CSMA or COLA. Carroll did lie and accuse me of emailing her and
blamed me for her getting angry with him over what HE had posted to CSMA.
Others have brought up more about his life from outside of CSMA/COLA and I
have noted I do not care. And I do not... other than that it is the loss of
them that seems to be tied to his obsession with me.

THAT is his real issue. In about 2004 his girlfriend left him and some time
after his wife did and he blames me.

No, it hasn't been.

(snip crap)

Nah, the real issue is your lies, especially the ones about how no one can point out your lies. We all know that's BS, even you.

After the dissolution of a marriage and the loss of a girlfriend, most
people would have thought to rebuild their social lives and start a new
relationship. I'm surprised that he didn't.

It's about what Snit continually claims doesn't exist, his dishonestly. I show it does exist... and not only on usenet. You can be a coward all day long, Andre... it won't change the facts one bit ;)

Unlike Snit and you, I have no interest in finding out who's right and
who's wrong. This whole feud of yours is making you guys behave like
children who are looking for the approval of their parents. I don't care
about the past, I care about the present and the future and would love
to talk to you both if you'll allow that.

People have been trying to get me to hate others for my entire life and
it has never worked; I prefer to make up my own mind and my decision is
that I want to appreciate what both of you can contribute to a discussion.

You can call me a coward all you want but anyone who knows me well knows
that the word doesn't apply.

Keep in mind I could not care less about the crap from 2004 either. I wish
Carroll would let it go.

I also wish he would STOP harassing me. That is my one and only request from
him.

Fair enough. Really I do not have any obligation to discuss my life AT ALL.

But Carroll is obsessed with it.

He may have. I have no idea. Heck, I do not even know his status with his
wife or girlfriend. I do know he lashes out against his ex-girlfriend and
accuses her of working with me to "hack" him (maybe she would know his
passwords?) and he posted how his then-wife was upset over some of the
things he posted about me to CSMA and he blamed ME for it. Nope... not gonna
even try to find the post and admit details might be off... maybe he blamed
me for her getting mad at a response to one of his posts. Whatever. It was
sometime in 2005 or 2006 or so.

Anyway, just sent you an email detailing specifics on how he goofed and let
it be known he used the Brad Wiggins account. At the very least a bizarre
"coincidence" if it is not him.

All I ask is you do not let him know how he screwed up. But he did.

I'm just hoping that he will get over it one day. There really IS an
obsession with your real identity though and especially with your
personal life. Otherwise, people like Carroll and Köhlmann wouldn't feel
the need to repeat your name as profusely as they do. Carroll is now
starting to use MY name (or rather the name I use to simplify others'
life whenever they try to pronounce the name I write on my legal
documents) as if it will somehow hurt me. This, while trying to convince
me that YOU are the villain.

If you sent me an e-mail, you don't have the appropriate address. :) I
change my correspondence information regularly and delete old addresses
to make it difficult for anyone other than my real friends to reach me.

And repeatedly lying about me.

If you want it then email me - even with a temporary address. I will re-send
the two emails there. If not, then don't. :)
