Why does chrome not want to obey the window manager settings?
I have windows set to "roll up" when I double-click the title bar.
Chrome, alone among all apps, insists on maximizing instead.
LINUX GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER!

Report it to Google. They're great at listening to customers.

See Google Groups Advanced Search for example.

"hypocrisy" to acquire software patents, even if one thinks that

Who the hell was even talking about software patents?

Is turdv still hurting from that embarrassing beat-down all these years
later?

--
This reminds me of a Relf classic.

    "Testing is how you know
if the code works or not,
     not compile-time warnings."
     - Jeff Relf

Heh. One doesn't need to be a pro, to know how stupid that is...

His butt-hurts haven't stopped in years.
Especially his "negative-feedback" fiasco where he got shredded totally.

I had a job in the great north woods
Working as a kook for a spell
But I never did like it all that much
And one day the ax just fell
So I drifted down to Google Groups
Where Dufus happened to be employed
Trollin’ for a while on a fishin’ boat
Right outside of Decatur
But all the while I was alone
The past was close behind
I seen a lot of cola posts
But some escaped my mind, and I just grew
Mangled dejanews

"Googoo Child (Slight Return)"

Well, I stand up next to a mountain lion
And I chop it down with the edge of my hand
Well, I stand up next to a mountain lion
Chop it down with the edge of my hand
Well, I pick up all the posts i make to cola
Might even raise just a little sand
'Cause I'm a googoo child
Lord knows I'm a googoo child

I didn't mean to take you up all your sweet time
I'll give it right back to you one of these days
I said, I didn't mean to take you up all your sweet time
I'll give it right back to you one of these days
And if I don't meet you no more in this world
Then I'll, I'll meet you in the next one
And don't be late, don't be late
'Cause I'm a googoo child
Lord knows I'm a googoo child
I'm a googoo child

Hen! Cool!

There's a Red Hat over yonder
That's where Ubuntu stays
There's a Red Hat over yonder, baby
That's where Ubuntu stays

Well, I ain't been home to see my 'buntu,
in ninety nine and one half days.
'Bout time I see her,
Wait a minute something's wrong here
The driver won't unblock the core.

Wait a minute something's wrong baby,
Lord, have mercy, this driver won't unblock this core,
something's goin' on here.
I have a bad bad feeling
that my 'buntu don't live here no more.

That's all right, I still got my guitar
Look out now . . .

I might as well do a restore
go back 'cross yonder over Debian hill
I might as well go back over yonder
way back over yonder crossin' Debian hill,
(That's where I came from.)

'Cause if my 'buntu don't love me no more,
I know my package manager will!

I don't use chrome any more but isn't it that you can set to use
window manager or not?

Yeah, but that's so fucking stupid. It should just use the window
manager settings. Who's the genius who thought that *anybody* would
want their chrome windows to behave differently from other windows
on the system? Hey i have a great idea. Let's make chrome system
modal maximized.
