Everybody needs a little metal from time to time. I was freshman in college when their hilarious Diamonds and Rust cover came out. I like all kinds of stuff though, from Bach to AC/DC to Carrie Underwood. Heard this on the radio tonight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SE7-tWEEejU It brought back some great memories of wilder days...

From 'Good Times Bad Times' thru 'I'm Gonna Crawl' they were endlessly creative. Best band ever, no doubt from me either. No other group put out such a body of diverse and consistently excellent songs. Here's a treat: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mvw--mNvPXQ

Zep is so good they make me half forget about the Beatles. And for a while (mid 70s to early 80s), Rush's music was also masterful.

I love the Beatles but I wil say that the quality of their work was pretty inconsistent. Maybe I'm a heathen but I didn't care much for crap like Sgt. Pepper's. I do not believe Zep released a bad album. I'm inspired to set up an all Zep/all day long playlist on Spotify now. :- )
