BeOS was an OS of outstanding merit. But it's no longer with us. Why not? It fell victim to the criminal tactics of Microshit. The BeOs company sued Microsoft for criminal monopolistic practices. The case was settled out of court, which allowed Microshit to cover up its illegal maneuverings. Microshit has succeeded through criminality only. No informed and rational person would ever choose such junk.

Twenty years later, as Haiku, it is still single-user, with no plans ever to go beyond that. Let it die in obscurity. Good riddance.

Period. End of story. Idiot, leave multiuser OSes for servers and crappy Linux... A stable real time desktop OS is best to be left single user. Like tho Mac classic, the best GUI personal comp of its time... Think why are they still using DOS in the nuclear missile silos?

That is simple, sensible, rational, and logical. What does this idiot desire? Does he want to bring back time-sharing from the 1960's? This multi-user crap is pure nonsense. I have been running GNU/Linux as a single-user system (root user) from the very beginning. But still, a few programs give me trouble with their "don't run as root" philosophy. I just respond with: "Fuck you, asshole idiot." Multi-users. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! What a dunce!
