As a result, if we choose to be racists, that decision is protected so long as we don't promote violence of any kind. Take away the religious wingnuts from the GOP and I could easily
be a registered Republican. You can't quite generalize like that. I
think both parties are far too eager to meddle in your affairs but
each in their own way. They have the same vices, they just manifest
in different ways.

Said the "fscking dumbshit" who (mis)read the context of 'COLA posters' and interpreted it as "the population at large" while issuing his ad hominem. > Would *anyone* claim that "Windows users" differ, politically, from > the population at large? Think about it. Yes, you can only imagine it because it never happened here. > Some of the idiocy that one reads in here is just off the fscking > charts! Indeed! Hint: This isn't a right/wrong argument. You might notice that Kelsey said how things 'seem' to him and, as he didn't necessarily specify any kind of a cutoff point with respect to a timeline, I interpret that as an open door to respond with my view of how things 'seem' to me as seen in the decade plus I've been reading COLA. From my viewpoint, being that so many of these people he's referring to are, in actuality, very few in number, Windows users like Snit, Lloyd, cc, Desktop Rabbit, etc. (none of whom I'd believe would necessarily tend to 'vote republican') are overshadowed. From what I recall this isn't the case throughout COLA's history, just that these few 'conservatives' have made it appear that way to the point where only a relatively small number of posters even bother to post now. In other words, I've made a 'choice' to voice how things 'seem' to me and, if I've committed a sin here, it was to drag history into my thought process while leaving it out of my wording. With that in mind, I'll amend it to read: I think just as many liberal Windows users have participated in COLA (even doing some trolling) as have conservative users. Note: This is not to say that the people I've mentioned can so easily be pigeon holed in the manner that Kelsey used in his statement, just that they are more likely to lean liberal than the 'few conservatives' I'm referring to. Confused? I suspect so...I guess I'll have to wait for you to show you can differentiate COLA posters from "the population at large" before I can expect a nuanced thought process from you. "Think about that". ;)

The fallout from Kelsey Bjarnason's self-nuke has touched all those around him -- those fellow leftist Democrats who welcome all sorts of "big government mitts in their pockets and maximum interference in their lives and business yet when it comes to choice of OS, it's the dead opposite; they want choice, freedom, options, and prefer not to be told what to do, what to buy when to buy.
