They are _designed_ to make money. They often have beneficial effects
along with the detrimental side-effects. I'm trying my best to avoid
all those GD chemical concoctions that they are coming up with,
including statins, which they want me to take to reduce my
cholesterol. My plan is to stay thin and exercise, rather than pop a
pill.

I guess I won't know if I'm right or wrong until the day I drop
dead...

I used to work with a soccer coach who was given the same solution to
his problem: take these pills and go home. He opted to work out instead.
He was 66 or so when I met him, but he looked twenty years younger
because he was buff. He couldn't see well, but he could probably
outbench me.

During my annual Medicare 'wellness' visit there is a evaluation form to
determine if statins should be prescribed. My doctor says it is designed
to recommend them regardless. Her take is if I really want them she will
prescribe but my cholesterol is fine. Actually my HDL level is high enough
to offset some of the negative evaluation factors.

fwiw my normal day starts off with garlic, an onion, two eggs, and a slice
of cheese fried in olive oil something that might give a cardiologist a
heart attack.

I was prescribed some kind of statin a few years ago (I guess my doctor was
programmed also). I looked at the possible side effects and said to myself,
"no freaking way." There's no history of heart disease or strokes in my
family and my blood pressure is fine.

When I was a kid, if you were overweight doctors used to say, "eat less and
excercise more" now they knee-jerk pimp for Big Pharma by saying "there's a
pill for that." Which is healthier?

When I was a kid or at least a teenager there was a pill for that,
Biphetamine 20s aka Black Beauties. They were goooood shit!

As far as I can tell Adderall is a very similar formulation so now you
don't have to be overweight to get the good stuff.

Find a better doctor. I’ve been working with mine for a decade to reduce
cholesterol based risks … and that’s a challenge for some, as it is now
known that a lot of it is genetically influenced. That’s why they ask about
family history.

Strange that it even needs to be spelled-out, eh?

That's *really* amazing, since Britain's now a shithole where posting

There might be _signs_ that they're waking up to the woke disease, but
Britain is much further down the rabbit hole than the United States
could ever be. I don't see people being arrested for sharing a meme on
this continent yet.

It's an exception to the rule, and in any case comes too late. They
are *fucked*.

Whites are already a minority in London.

(!)

Those Muslims are going to out-breed the whites 4-to-1. It won't be
more than a couple generations that England (of all places!) will be a
black Muslim country!

South Asian rather than black muslim, but yes, that is their admitted
plan. I think they will succeed but I will not be here to witness it.
The World belongs to the young and it's their problem now. They will
have to deal with it as best they can. That is how the cookie crumbles.

Yep. I'm sure the Lebanese thought they could control the Muslims too
before the civil war broke out.

The best hope for whites is that their women won't marry and breed with
the Muslims. However, they have a ton of their own who are ready to
become baby-making factories. When you consider that white women
_refuse_ to procreate or even get into relationships in some cases,
there is no way that this is ending well. Before long, the only white
countries left in the world will be Poland and Hungary.

I'm pretty sure that, in Britain, they'll probably change the law. They're
that far gone with this Woke stupidity.

Have you been to Britain, RonB?
