In a way it's a family drama but it's interesting to see the differences
between the middle family and the lower class. It also brings in what I
mentioned. The daughter uses an Arabic word and the father corrects her.
'We are Persians. The right term is ...'.

The ones with money located in Saudi Arabia. I find it abhorrent how the
United States works with the country in everything. Heck, even
professional wrestling has events there on a regular basis. However,
Muslims in Saudi Arabia and Iran are apparently converting to
Christianity in large numbers. The story is the same in Iran except that
the number of converts there is a lot larger. Perhaps their exposure to
Western media and content plays a part? Apparently, much of it is due to
the fact that the Internet is now available to Muslims, and they can
easily discover that their "faith" is a work of bad plagiarism filled
with contradictions and lies. Perhaps exposure to Western content also
played a part.

Apparently exposure to the internet hasn't hindered the LDS church.

I think they just enjoy the fact that they can have a number of wives

Garbage sells.

https://ldschurchgrowth.blogspot.com/

Mainstream Christian churches are losing members but they keep on growing.
There is a temple planned for here and there are already a number of ward
churches or whatever they are called.

There is a LDS fundamentalist town about 30 miles south. It's generally
believed they are polygamists but they don't cause problems so it's don't
ask, don't tell.

The question for me is whether I want to join a religion because of the
benefits it offers while I live or do I want to join the true faith
shared by God. In my case, it's the latter. I would be wary of any sect
which promises me all sorts of wonderful luxuries if I join.

When my brother worked with Mormons in Idaho Falls, he would share rides
with his co-workers. When they would drive home his Mormon co-worker would
always point to a big house on the side of the highway. He would say, "This
is where our bishop lives... awfully BIG for ONE family, isn't it?"

I guess he was proud that his bishop was a polygamist.

One woman is enough trouble for me. Of course, if all those women are
submissive and don't complain about everything like most women do, I can
imagine it not being too demanding.

It's definitely the one where there is the most action. Andrew "Action"

At this moment I am neither denying nor confirming anything.
I asked you a question which you have not yet answered, RonB.

When you've done that, kindly give chapter and verse about
"people have been jailed for posting memes in Britain".

Yeah, golly gee .. how about that?

Seems that Ronny is afraid to look outside of his echo chamber.

The "trustworthy," "authoritative" sources we are encouraged to use by
our respective government always lie by omission. Here in Canada, CBC
routinely removes details, as do CTV, Global and even the local LCN. The
only way you will really know what's going on is if you get your news
through a combination of the mainstream garbage and independent sources.
You always have to use the latter to confirm.

If you only rely on traditional broadcast or print news, you will always
be grossly misinformed. Look at Stéphane, for example, he's been
convinced that a "vaccine" that caused my sister-in-law, my best friend
and her co-worker to develop uteran cancer and need to have their
reproductive system is _safe_. He's telling us that the injection that
caused the cousin of my former brother-in-law and his wife to develop
cancer is helpful. The pharmaceutical industry was definitely not
responsible for my wife's subordinate developing myocarditis requiring
her to stay in the hospital for week and half!

With such a brilliant perspective, it should be no wonder why France is
quickly turning into yet another Muslim caliphate.

I always take all my news with a big pinch of salt, not to say a
cynical, distrusting approach. I form my opinions by gleaning
information from as many independent sources as I can, giving
due weight to their reputation for trustworthiness.

IMHO "Rebelnews" does not inspire trust.

I abhor bigotry.

And I abhor cowards who worship at the alter of political correctness.

More rudeness. It's abundantly plain that your opinions are immovable
so this exchange of views is at an end.
