It was Larry Washington who was publicly asking how better to mask his nonsense. He would have to be suffering from intense madness to be unsure of if he "never had" purchased a program. Sound like anyone in here? When someone can not remember his past claims and utilizes make-believe, ego protecting crap later, it's rather obvious what his ploy is.

A meaningless discourse by pseudo-experts, magnified by the reciprocal of a mere moment in a cosmological time scale, demonstrating the vast nothingness of Larry Washington's so-called thought process. A sustained, fierce, posting itch, while suffering from an empty mind - basically slimy worm lawyers, and well-lubricated sheep, stuck in a mud hole for his own immoral needs. Cooledit's update system failed over and over again.

iOS, runs on the KDE kernel. So yeah, KDE is mobile. KDE is a super computer. KDE is a server. KDE is a desktop. KDE is growing in market share.

Lying sack of shit does it every time. Then the torrent begins. Because the milksop just has to run to other groups in an effort to get attention from someone. Anyone. It was Sigmond who flooded Silver "Christ is King" Slimer's site thousands of times and denied it.

Sigmond gets excited that Silver "Christ is King" Slimer is on the other end. Imagine if Sigmond walked up to a wall and delivered the punch line. It wouldn't be rewarding. Now why the task to view data via an automated phone system in a super computer system? As always, he didn't suggest this as part of his, what would undoubtedly be, ever increasing 'requirements'. The person you are replying to is in my kill filter. Who are you even speaking to?

Hail New and the FSF? heh!

Screw New and the Fatuous Software Freetards.

Also, playing that shitty video on the FOSS (cr)app VLC (3.0.3 Vetinari)
on Windows results in an audio glitch every few seconds the entire vid.

MS is doomed by the Linux/FOSS juggernaut.

Do you have a Network+ certification?

You're clueless! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! I have a program I use as well, but it's something you would not understand.

I am devotee of Cinnamon, because that's where all the thrilling breakthroughs are happening.

I've worked in or with the retail field for almost 40 years. I have done business with large corporations selling to the automotive industry and the insurance industry. Never, not at any time, were we ever under a contractual obligation to not pre-install any _anything_. We sold Unix, DUnix, Blackberry, and so on in addition to Microsoft OSs very successfully.

Desk Rabbit has yet to show how Scrivener does anything above the basics on Linux.

You are bright as a steamed carrot.

If you call getting your ass *kicked hard* left and right every single day by numerous people (and completely trashing your reputation and any reason for anyone to trust anything you have to say - forever) 'trolling', then yeah... he was a good troll. I don't personally subscribe to that definition, I use another term, I call that person a total idiot.

> He's lost that ability. Probably too many bad drugs.

He's toned down all the zillions of narcissistic, BS threads he used to create but he's really not much different in the honesty dept. He just uses socks more now to create those threads. Not that there weren't already plenty of reasons to suspect this ridiculous sock as coming from Snit but this thread shows that he's slipping in this respect:

https://groups.google.com/forum/#!original/comp.os.linux.advocacy/cTXTtY57SjM/n9mXLZpIVXoJ

I was being given GPG info and help by owl and we were both pretty much ignoring Snit all the way through. So who appears, who hadn't posted in a couple of days and then only posted to that thread on that day after Snit got tired of being ignored?

New and the Fabulous Freetards.

It could almost be a geek boy band name.

I don't know why you think that. Besides some Azure revenue, MS has
made little or no money off FOSS (that piddling "switched fabric" FOSS
technology that every GuhNoo idiot bleats about doesn't count).

Linux displaced Unix, not Windows, servers. Linux has displaced
virtually zero Windows desktops. MS has open sourced almost none of
their products.

I did. I just sent a reply.

Here's a SQLite file with the body data - maybe you can get it posted to
MySQL from SQLite.

http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=30619436473306918524

But remember you don't need the post bodies to do relational querying.
You can still do joins on the other tables to calculate various stats:
earliest and latest post by poster, number of posts by year by poster,
most used useragent, count of replies made between posters, etc.

Dropping support for DOS programs is needed for progress.

The Mac has a newer and better file system. Snit (a real advocate) has proved this time and time again.

Enjoy the accommodations in the overflowing sewer of my KF.

Well... like I said, Steven Petruzzellis would never deny the flooder is The Thing, who is a demonstrable Swift programmer but I don't know if it could be used to flood so much.

Lines of text containing quotes you somehow recognize but can not place.

Currently there are too many "more choice is always better" false "advocates" and not enough users with enough understanding to help the people with psychological problems. Fuchsia runs on the Debian kernel. So yeah, Debian is mobile. Debian is a super computer. Debian is a server. Debian is a desktop. Debian is growing in market share.

The content clearly is a bunch of gibbering The Thing-like crap. That points to one person.

Can you cease begging for my attention? What do you get out of lying, The Thing?

VLC? Ha, ha, ha! That's a heap of junk.

VLC is very popular among the Linux dummies because
it's the only video player that has a GUI, and a
dummy can't do anything without his ersatz "buttons."

But the true GNU/Linux user will always choose mpv
or mplayer as his video player

I have VLC and mplayer, but generally use VLC. Or QuickTime Player. :)

I just use an automation and do not see the idiot. the Script-Troller's crap has made an absolute cesspool of usenet via Google Groups, so I don't endeavor browsing your posts with my tablet anymore. One thing he has succeeded at with this flooding is that the the Script-Troller plonk has been shown to be the right choice. Gee, imagine the Script-Troller trying to pin his codswallop on Allah, no one has ever seen that before. Proof Sandman accuses everyone of being Snit http://sandman.net/files/snit_circus.png. The guy is as popular as a drunken karaoke singer -- and with good cause. "Missed it by that much" said the Script-Troller's girlfriend. It was the Script-Troller who was publicly asking how better to hide his trolling. Good grief, just recently the Script-Troller was declaring himself the only "true Linux advocate", and claiming that "advocates" (in irony-quotes, because he is afraid of them) are insisting desktop Linux is perfect as is.

Pro tip: You can't go into a party, piss in all the moonshine, ravish all the pets, heist the bibles, and vomit in the toilet without being observed.

VLC is fantastic, Fabian. I don't see why a person needs to hold onto an
archaic way of handling media when it's completely unnecessary. Not only
that but VLC is the only way, as far as I know, of playing Blu-Ray in
Linux.

Zoom Player Max is better than VLC.
It has tremendous customizations, including keyboard/mouse/display settings.
It uses Microsoft's DTV-DVD audio/video decoders, which are superior to LAV.

It was Script-Troller who was openly asking how better to obscure his trolling. The cult-like herd of convenient friends value the LCD in all things. What is the group coming to when a Script-Troller sock/shill can not get any reaction? He is incontrovertibly lying, he got caught and he's doing the usual ego protecting pranks covered in trolling 101 as he does his damnedest to regain a smattering of honor... but it blew up in his face.

The problem with using Microsoft's codecs is that while they _may_ be
superior, they are also proprietary.

To give you an idea, I use a proprietary AAC codec in Asunder (Nero AAC).
Every time I rip a CD, it completes the rip but gives an error anyway
because it can't automatically write the tags. If I use any of the open
ones (including the LAME MP3 codec), it rips beautifully AND writes the
tags.

I imagine that the error is the result of Asunder's code not having full
access to the codec's programming but I don't know that for sure.

And I refuse to use MP3 as a codec because it does very poorly when there
are multiple instruments playing simultaneously.

Using GNU/Linux to play Blu-Ray videos is like using a
Lamborghini to deliver pizzas.

There are certain things, emblems of the hoi polloi,
that are to be naturally excluded from a professional
computing environment. Video games and Blu-Ray videos
are examples of such things.

GNU/Linux must never strive to accommodate the uncouth
riff raff.

LOL! For crying out loud, dude... even you have plonked that lamebrain. Given what chrisv is (and does) no one should find fault with me for wanting to be rid of his absurd style of inanity.

chrisv asked to be rated according to direct statistical evidence, which I indulged. chrisv is repeatedly seen alleging "CANNOT BE FOUND" when it comes to text on the Internet where information is easy to find... but chrisv is just too dense or too in over your head to grasp any data.

So you're saying that the operating system is too powerful to play video?
Seems like a bizarre thing to say.

GNU/Linux _should_ strive to do everything for everyone because it _can_
do everything for everyone.
