Turdv decided that even though he has zero understanding of the code - he
can call it the shittiest that he's ever seen because it's just intuitively
obvious to anyone who looks at it.

" *even someone who has never programmed* " would automatically be able to
know what's good code and what isn't. It's no different than seeing a
gymnast fall off a balance beam.

<quote>
Hey, Kook, does one need to be a gymnast, to recognize that someone is a
complete klutz that can't even stand on the balance beam?

You are *ignorant* of the Relf code, *obviously*, or you would not be making
such a fricken *jackass* of yourself, as if it's not obvious to *even
someone who has never programmed* that the Relf code is garbage!
</quote>

I never realized that programming in C/C++ was that obvious and intuitive
where people who know nothing about programming can just look at some code
and immediately be able to judge the quality.

So when grandma or anyone see's something like this - the quality of which
one is better is just obvious:

       while ((*src++ = *dst++) != '\0');

        while (*src++ = *dst++);

--
This reminds me of a Relf classic.

    "Testing is how you know
     if the code works or not,
     not compile-time warnings."
     -  Jeff Relf

Heh. One doesn't need to be a pro, to know how stupid that is...

I should have also noted that Kreep *lied* to attack me, claiming that
I had not even seen the code.

"chrisv is so unreasonable that he'll call code shitty, without ever
seeing it." (That's me paraphrasing, trolls, not directly quoting the
Kreep.)

I mean, WTF? In order to attack their superiors, these fsckers will
make-up shit that they cannot *possibly* know!

Of course, the filthy lying hypocrite Ezekreep will *not* ridicule his
shitty pal Dumfsck for comparing the quality of Gates' code to "most
everyone's" OSS code, without seeing either one!

Seriously though, chrisv, you're one of the biggest losers in here.
Something tells me that you were a Goth in high school and that you have

If turdv had any clue at all about programming (which he doesn't) then it
would have been trivial to name any of the dozens of things wrong with
Relf's mess.

The fact is that he kept screaming how shitty the code is but was incapable
of naming even one single thing that was shitty about it. No matter how easy
that was to do.

This reminds me of a Relf classic.

Heh. One doesn't need to be a pro, to know how stupid that is...

His argument was basically that it's shitty because other advocates said so
and he wanted to jump on the bandwagon. He had no clue at all why it was
shitty. It was just a bunch of mindless "me too" posts.

What direction he chooses to pursue doesn't change the contributions that
he's already made.

There's nothing inherently wrong with .NET either. If Redhat or Google had
developed it instead of Microsoft most of the advocates here would be
drooling over it.

Microsoft sees market opportunities in server side .NET for Linux...
C# or Java, same to me ...
Problem is that client side differs and Microsoft is not allowing that
for Linux, only server side....
Therefore there are few popular C# client apps on Linux...

And one day he may move to a different OS. It's that "choice" thing that
he's freely using.

The problem is that Java had a huge head start and is firmly entrenched on
servers. It's difficult to unseat Java.

You mean, just like "we" drooled over systemd from RedHat? Just like "we"
drooled over Google splitting their browser into Chromium and Chrome? Just
like "we" drooled over Canonical bringing out a dumbed-down desktop
environment with very few configuration options?

Zeke should speak for himself, not "we".
