What's kooky is taking a year off to work on a cola database, then
using that database to respond to the posts you missed during that
year off.

wtf? I didn't work on or download anything to that db one time in ~11
months.

Looks like I missed owl being kooky and self-nukey.

Non-existent incidents are easily missed, so that's understandable.

* "Microsoft has hinted that they are doing a major rework of the
kernel, which will probably be based on the BSD kernel, and will
    probably be released with Vista."
    Ballard kook, May 2006

* "At some point Windoze will be either Linux or BSD."
owl kook, 12 years later Sep 2018

Rex became Debbie not long after making such kook statements. It's a
dangerous path you're on.

That post was from Nov 2017. It was true then. It's still true
today. Win 10 is the last doze, according to MS themselves.

Yeah, i don't see that happening. I worry about your path though.

He was right about the kernel rewrite and it had a lot to do with why
Vista' betas were so iffy. The final release was OK though. Of course, he
was totally wrong about the BSD part.

ROFL. I think he's basing it on the fact that development of the Linux
kernel is progressing a lot more than the Windows one. Linux actually
improves whereas Windows as a whole just seems to be getting heavier,
slower and more annoying to use with time.
