But in Feeb's mind, if you write 'that Javash*t' for $$ (or anything
to do with the web, really) you're a sellout, clueless or you're an

Web programming is "programming" in the same sense that putting a TV dinner
in the microwave is "cooking."

Of course, one must be a REAL PROGRAMMER to be able to appreciate that
analogy.

Ooops! Here is the revised imagined listing:

The soundtrack to "Binky Goes to Hollywood"

The soundtrack to "Cinderella Gets a New Dwarf"

The soundtrack to "Uncle Whitey Plays the Blues"

Etc., etc., etc., ad nauseum.

It's much more comfortable experience then using free services which are

Yeah. Tell that fucking idiot.

Those web services are so fucking sluggish and clunky that even
a brain-dead housewife would get irritated.

But REAL Usenet access is vastly more versatile and efficient.

Crossposting and access to binaries are the only things I see
missing that might matter to me. Personally, I don't miss either
all that much, so there's no real value I'm craving that I don't
already have for free.

I agree it's not expensive... but that's not my point. If the only
value I derive from it is to smack fools like Feeb around, why
would I pay for that when I can do it for nothing? I wouldn't...

This newsgroup is dead, but there are others... generally people don't
know about usenet and since ISP's dropped support there is no youth
