Some time ago I did work on and showed some C++ for the front end which is the only thing you can do when trying to avoid Klaus Schadenfreude's immature crap while reading with Google Groups. You do, of course realize that the massive floods ending up in multiple groups started out in COLA, right? Steven Petruzzellis and Klaus Schadenfreude had their malfunctions and their humiliations. But one played it dishonestly and didn't do anything too outrageous that could not be presented as stage magic. Klaus Schadenfreude must appreciate that Steven Petruzzellis can go get Access, right, sicko? Add to that, anyone can just ignore him, which renders *his* flooding impotent, just like Klaus Schadenfreude. -- Do not click this link!! https://youtu.be/UkAyrfOZaXc http://www.5z8.info/nic_cage_naked_y8b5qk_torrentEverything http://comp.os.linux.advocacy.narkive.com/711dskzA/steven-petruzzellis-admits-he-can-not-back-his-claims-about-snit Jonas Eklundh Communication AB

Are you seriously saying that you want your database interface to handle that stuff? Sounds to me like you are just making up new requirements on the fly (sort of like somebody else I know).

Payroll processing is a very ramified affair and one has to account for all of these possibilities. I anticipate that, for any given year, the maximum number of basic records will be 5000. This number is far too small for a bone-fide database like MariaDB. LO spreadsheets can handle 5000 records with ease, especially since it can use opencl for processing. Also, LO spreadsheets can be used as a data source for LO Base which provides a lot more flexibility. It is, in this case, the ideal solution. But I will still allow things to smolder for a while yet.

So screw 'unimportant' things like data duplication, data integrity, security, superior reporting capabilities, easier access for multiple users, etc. because of the consideration of "the maximum number of basic records" in "any given year"? I'm wondering why you'd consider this an example of good 'future proofing'. > > Also, LO spreadsheets can be used as a data source for LO Base > which provides a lot more flexibility. > > It is, in this case, the ideal solution. Like the other trolls in political groups, Peter the Cöwardly Liön relies on right wing media to blindly inform his positions on matters. Ergo, he only knows and speaks of the authenticated stories which also happens to be the ones which describe communists in a very kind and ethical way. There is no question that all of them are not automated because some of them tap into what Steve Carroll said in very specific ways which proves they are a response. Meaning someone is hand writing many of these. Just mindless trolling. And I am giving attention to that trolling. THAT is what the "Peter the Cöwardly Liön circus" is. Who _ doesn't_ know that this kind of codswallop is Peter the Cöwardly Liön's approach, not the MO of Steve Carroll? It is all just nonsense... the endless posting, the posting with Steve Carroll's name, the writing of word-twisted nonsense, the anger... the puffy red eyes and eagerness to show how flustered he is over being banned from the sandbox for shitting in it again... just what Peter the Cöwardly Liön does ;) -- What Every Entrepreneur Must Know! http://www.5z8.info/hackwebcam_e9z2tw_friendster-of-sex Jonas Eklundh Communication AB

I freely admit I've never done anything with payroll so the concept of immutable data doesn't make any sense to me as viewed in the context of the things I mentioned. For example, how would the data being immutable prevent data duplication? >> >> superior reporting capabilities, >> > > Can't beat LO for superior reporting. Have you ever even used it for "docu mgmt and payroll processing"? It sures sounds like that's a big, fat 'NO'. > >> >> easier access for multiple users, >> > > Multiple users? Where'd those fucking assholes come from? Hear that? It's the sound of your 'future proofing' falling off the desk into the trash can.

How is "All the data is generated by code"? In this context doesn't "the data" consist of things like employee status, name, address, phone number, salary etc.? What's your plan, create a 'new' version of an employee any time any one of those things changes?

Data duplication is a problem when an employee, for example, is referred to by a NAME in several tables. Then, when some idiot, like you, changes the name in one table but forgets to change all the other names. That CANNOT happen here because I SAID SO and I SAID SO because I KNOW SO.
