It was HWSNBN who was publicly asking how better to camouflage his flooding.

What's the world coming to when a HWSNBN sock/shill fails to get any attention...

Sandman is a false advocate's only reason for living.

Sandman created at least 20 virtual systems in the last year or so. I bet nobody else has ever done that.

If you have 'some_file.pdf' open in a user space program such as sc and you want to change its name to 'windows.pdf' via a proxy icon, that might be useful.

Script Troller is the upshot of the reality that humanists have been appointed to take the lead in educating the next generation. It is not mere happenstance that he is an unintelligent communist.

Given how repeatedly it is clear that Script Troller's post is some exaggeration of a quote Klaus Schadenfreude shared which had been a blow on Script Troller for something he did which was brainless/fallacious/etc... its really a repeated gesture of Script Troller's ever-present embarrassment for having been so often crushed. Who knows C++, is a programmer, has forged Klaus Schadenfreude's account, has an obsession and is a colossal whining mama's boy who, when he is quoted lying, posts lie after lie after lie even when he's _not_ flooding... AND... who endeavors to attributes everything he is doing on "others" and has for his whole life?

  Jonas Eklundh:
    -----
I would love to see the group become that! I would love to see
people, for example, pick tasks they do with Desktop Linux which
they believe are handled better than the competition. I have
encouraged that for a long time. But so far few if any such tasks
    have been shown.
    -----

  Marek Novotny:
    -----
    Linux is a Server, A Cloud, A service, A mobile Platform, A
developers dream come true, A super cluster, a Main frame and a
    DESKTOP. It's not JUST a desktop. You're a two-bit bullshit coward
who refuses to face what Linux actually is. It's too much for you,
    obviously.
    -----

Jonas Eklundh (referencing to the above quote):
    ----
But it is not all of those things. Not even close. It is USED by
those things but it is NOT those things.
    -----

  Marek Novotny (some time later):
    -----
Android isn't Linux. Android makes "use" of the Linux kernel.
Android is indeed open source, but it is not community driven open
source. Those that know the difference likely won't cry over Android
ditching the Linux kernel and adopting their own kernel. It simply
never mattered for all the reasons I stated above. Now the fact that
I have to articulate this in writing so these clueless tards like
DFS and Jonas Eklundh can gain some insights because they LACK their
own insights is what I find troubling. They both have no business
arguing in here. They are simply too stupid to have a conversation
about that which they just don't fundamentally understand in the
    first place.
    -----

Notice Marek uses the concepts I taught him (about how Linux is "USED" by the things he listed) then fantasizes about how I did not know the information HE got wrong and I corrected him with (and did so with no name calling or insults).

  Steven 'Super Troll' Petruzzellis:
    -----
    I,I,I,I,I,I,I,I,I and if that wasn't enough, I,I,I,I,I,I.
    Talk about a narcissistic fool.
    -----

  Jonas Eklundh:
    -----
You left out his I, I, I, I. AM. BETTER. THAN. Jonas Eklundh AND DFS!
He is clearly feeling very insecure these days.
    -----

  Marek Novotny:
    -----
Well, if he wants to play this game with me he'll find pictures of
his wife on imgur with dildos all over her and I can cross post
those too. Keep fucking around Jonas Eklundh. I can play this game too.

After ignoring all the flooding, it is basically just two flooders mass producing most of the bombardment. Obviously. And both altogether over-the-top dingbats. I think Klaus 'Super Troll' Schadenfreude does not even know what is wrong with Klaus 'Super Troll' Schadenfreude. Pay for a background report on Klaus 'Super Troll' Schadenfreude and you will find that he was in prison last year. The online reports fail to go into that level of detail and public reports have to be subpoenaed. So Klaus 'Super Troll' Schadenfreude changed his story to Desk Rabbit posting about his business.

Klaus 'Super Troll' Schadenfreude claims to be the scripting authority. Let's see him put up a form but lacking the normalization procedures. From the manner Klaus 'Super Troll' Schadenfreude asked - by demanding details of the system and so forth - he's certainly not worked on a computationally complex task. If he had he'd have understood the requirements!

Gee, imagine Klaus 'Super Troll' Schadenfreude trying to pin his gobbledegook on Desk Rabbit and me, no one has ever seen that before.

Here is one of MANY documents that all say the SAME THING:

http://exadox.com/en/articles/file-naming-convention-ten-rules-best-practice

Pay particular attention to #3:

3. Use the underscore (_) as element delimiter. Do not use spaces or
other characters such as: ! # $ % & ' @ ^ ` ~ + , . ; = ) (

Now do as you are told and STFU.

Who does NOT know that this kind of twaddle is Steve Petruzzellis's approach, not the MO of F. Russell? It's all just nonsense... the trolling, the posting with F. Russell's name, the writing of drivel, the tantrums... the panties in a twist and willingness to show how butthurt he is over being booted from the playground for shitting in it again... Steve Petruzzellis can not help himself ;)

Turns out Steve Petruzzellis's persistent referencing of F. Russell met that definition, so he insisted that comment of his was forged by F. Russell. But when the stats were run, it turns out by _that_ criteria, Steve Petruzzellis was far more "fanatical" than even I imagined. You guys can only rationalize from the perspective of a programmer. I sometimes destroy beetles with my thoughts. The guy is as well liked as ants at a picnic -- and with good cause. Proof Sandman accuses everyone of being Snit http://sandman.net/files/snit_circus.png.

I bet Steve Petruzzellis thinks his life was rough.

underscore probably is best, but others are workable:

underscore
SMITH-J_AXA_7654-6_POLICY_20120915.pdf

carat
SMITH-J^AXA^7654-6^POLICY^20120915.pdf (heh)

period
SMITH-J.AXA.7654-6.POLICY.20120915.pdf

tilde
SMITH-J~AXA~7654-6~POLICY~20120915.pdf

dash
SMITH-J-AXA-7654-6-POLICY-20120915.pdf

pipe
SMITH-J|AXA|7654-6|POLICY|20120915.pdf

I like the pipe, actually, but Windows won't allow it.

When naming files I mostly use underscores and dashes, occasionally
camelCase.

Feeb: "various outrageous concoctions produced by these idiots and their
idiotic OS."

Then you didn't show any examples, and you ran away from the fact that
Linux is nearly identical in its allowance of bogus characters in file
names.

Great post, Feeb! +1! The other "advocates" will love it and won't
complain how stupid it is!

I prefer underscores... but not using all caps, maybe for the first letter
in a scheme like the above. The _ is generally the least tedious to look at:

I usually only use camelCase for vars. I'll use dashes for CSS and HTML
(i.e. classnames, attributes). I try to stick to underscore for filenames but
have used dashes.

C'mon... you know what he "meant"... forget about what he wrote, it's
what he "meant" that counts; 'chrisv' said so and he has the final say ;)

Chrisv is a turd.

A file name is the same as any other IDENTIFIER, such as a programming
variable, and must be treated in the same manner. It has to be
unambiguous to the MACHINE.

A variable would not be named "some*var" because it could not be
unambiguously parsed in all contexts. The same applies to file names.

Don't forget that we are dealing with computers and not humans.
There is always to be that distinction between what is human-readable
what is machine readable.

A "programming variable" is not under any such constraints and can
indeed not even have a name.

Not all variables are named. They might simply be referenced.

Don't forget that you are talking nonsense.

A variable is something that can change. It does not have to be
explicitly named.

I don't view them (vars and files) in exactly the same way but that may
be because I've never had occasion to. Maybe he has?

How do you do that? I'm just a 'dummy web dev'... as Feeb likes to keep
reminding me, so I'm not familiar with such things (but I've heard about it).

I disagree with Feeb's apparent stance that humans exist to serve
computers... not the other way around.

What is your evidence?

Already moved on from that. Take it as you want!

You likely think Gnome handles the desktop well. Nope. Not compared to anything else, really. Generally, Sandman would not call something like Steve 'The Flooder' Carroll's comments an outright lie right up until you negate it (as you are here) and Steve 'The Flooder' Carroll responds with the same thing again ignoring what you said.

I still remain unpersuaded that these posts are scripted.

No one who isn't just using you for trolling aim (isn't a sock) sees you as anything remotely close to honest. You have nobody but Steve 'The Flooder' Carroll to credit for that.
