The only thing you caught was a long-lasting case of Linux Idiotitis.

You said something similar (and just as stupid) back then, in June 2012:

<quote>
The sneering bitch also *pretended* to use Pine as his mailer, about
two months ago. Unfortunately for stupid Larry, development on Pine
was ceased 6 (yes *SIX*) years ago.
</quote>

You can't be so clueless as to think that just because development has
ceased, the program can no longer be installed and used?

You can download a .deb package from here:
https://www.washington.edu/pine/getpine/linux.html

And you can get alpine from the Debian repos.

I tried to build it from source for my Manjaro system, but got some
strange errors.

I noticed you made yourself look like a fool in your rush to attack
Hadron. turdv does the same thing, often.

As does Hadron... he's doing it in his rush to attack me for pointing to the "wrongs" Snit asks for proof of while screaming "stalker!". Maybe your point is being made more than you or even Hadron realize... maybe he should stop using Linux ;)

I also have NO clue what he's talking about. I've used gnus for years
and no others.

I think the anal syphilis has rotted his brain.

He's also talking through his wizards pocket of an arse.

It must hurt to be constantly clueless but so wanting to be a Linux 1337
for sMarti.

Wouldn't surprise me at all to find out this happened.

All good points but Hadron is still the greatest definition of an
asshole I've ever seen. I think that the reason the herd is against him
is because of that and not because of his supposed lack of knowledge or
whatever.

How is he an "asshole"?

Hadron is stuck on snit providing evidence of his TECHNICAL claims.
And I think you and I can agree that snit does provide his evidence.
However, that is NOT the problem with snit and that is where Hadron
goes wrong.

Look at snit's history.
The pages sandman has.
The 163 people list etc.

Trouble just seems to follow snit everywhere he goes.

He notes I support my points well, even if I respond to those who troll me
to the point that it becomes horribly boring.

Yup. And it often pisses those off who want to disagree - as it did with yu
when I proved you hunch about Onion Knight wrong using technical knowledge.

The list does not have 163 people, but even if it did so what? None of those
people are *me*. You cannot show *me* doing as you accuse. And that pisses
you off, too.

No - only in COLA and CSMA, two groups filled with dishonest people.

He has but not consistently... there have been *plenty* of times where Snit's "evidence" for some of his technical claims are just as goofy as his non tech ones. One good recent "tech" example is regarding what he claims is his business... look at his *many* recent f*ckups on that topic... right down to his easily solved issue with a Linux server.

Today we find out that he doesn't know when, where, why or how to use a simple redirect. How is it possible to run your own web development company, have a Master's in IT and not know that?! This is the musical equivalent of not being able to play a C chord on the piano because your main instrument is the guitar.

Where he goes wrong is the same place Snit does, trying to sell alternative reality to people they *have* to know won't buy it (it's been going on far too long for them to not know).

That's far from complete and it's not by chance. Those people... and all the ones not on it, have written *many* hundreds (probably more like many thousands) of posts like this about Snit.

Silver Slimer, I believe, has spoken well of Thunderbird. Then again, he has
also noted it is wrong to say NASA denounced global climate change... but he
will not call you out on your deep ignorance and dishonesty on the issue,
just as you will never note the NRA video stands unrefuted (not the "NSA"
video as I posted previously - oops... both absurd groups but they are not
the same!)

And that is the problem with desktop Linux: it offers lower quality and
choice. It is simply not a good solution in most cases, even being free.

Linux has never come alive on the desktop... it is DOA... and years later.

Huh? Mobile computing is not the future?

In the not-too-distant future, mobile computers will become so cheap
and powerful that stationary "desktop" computers will be much less
than half the market.

Poor Flathead. It really must suck to be mentally-ill, *and* fighting

It's not a matter of power it's a matter of ergonomics.
There are some things that are just difficult to do on a mobile
computer, laptop aside.

Personally I think the cloud is the long term model.

War?
What war?
I'm not at war.
Are you?

I use what works for me, as I have said many times.
Right now it's Windows. After Vista it was almost OSX.
Someday it might be Linux.

The only people that seem to be at war are the Linux cult.

The war they fight is on several fronts: hygiene, social graces, earning
power...

I think it will be a part of the mix, but desktop computers are not going
away - and software will continue to run there for the foreseeable future.

Sure you are. Look at your .sig. You are at war with the truth... attacking
someone who beat you in an online debate by trying to hurt them in a
personal and professional way. It is truly reprehensible.

In terms of OSs, sure. But you make the "war" personal and even
professional. That is an even worse sickness.

Like I say, use what works for you!
Being part of the one percent club isn't always bad :)

They are indeed poor.

Tough market, pricing, arriving late on the scene and the bad press
Windows 8 is getting isn't helping.
