I don't think I'll be buying anymore Apple products either. Even
flatfish is not happy with her iPhone.

For now, I'll wait a while.

All of what I've read about Microsoft, Apple and Google's involvement in
aiding the NSA to spy on all users makes me want to stray away from
buying any kind of software, using any of their services or buying
anything which even remotely benefits them. However, as far as I'm
concerned, there is absolutely nothing worse than Apple. Not only do
they seem to take pleasure in limiting you on the software side, they
love to make you feel special for accepting to be their slave on the
hardware side. Love that iPhone? You won't in a few months when an
update turns that speedy phone into an outdated piece of crap whose
experience is so awful, you feel the need to upgrade to whatever new
crap they're trying to shovel down your throat.

Just as a side note, to the person claiming to not read my posts, you were
not so anti-Apple until you got mad at me for noting how the NRA video stood
unrefuted.

So you know: unlike some in COLA I am not offended by your dislike of any
technology. Hate Apple all you want. Sounds fine. But just as I not take
someone's hatred of Linux or Windows seriously unless it is tied to some
data, that is how I see your rants against Apple. Yours are based almost
solely on emotion.

You are a very emotional person and not very logical at all.

See: an emotional rant... they "take pleasure" and the whole "slave"
nonsense. No reason or logic or evidence. So be it.

And this is just contrary to the facts: Apple supports their hardware a lot
longer than most Android phones are supported.

Do you even know what the hell I was talking about? I said I have
decided NOT TO BUY anything from those three companies and you're
referring to me refusing to use something I bought? Your reading skills
are seriously lacking.

Why would I buy an Apple iPhone just because the hardware is supposedly
the best? The same hardware generally appears on handsets from other
companies. By no means is Apple a monopoly where good hardware is
concerned. In fact, my Blackberry Z10 is comparable to an iPhone 5 and
it works beautifully. Does it matter to me in the slightest the iPhone 5
MIGHT be slightly better? Of course not. Why would I want to be forced
to use an atrocity like iOS just to be able to use what is supposedly
the best hardware? Damn you're stupid.

So by all means, buy from them. I've never truly been satisfied with my
Apple experience either way.

Yes: clearly he does! You were making up stories about Apple, your stories
were absurd.

You made claims about Apple that were baseless and absurd and completely
unsupportable. You have been doing that a lot since I noted the NRA video
you hate so much stands unrefuted and you got mad.

In other words: your beef is not even with Apple... it is with me for noting
a fact. And you think you can get "revenge" against me by lying about
Apple... as if I somehow represent Apple.

Your actions are emotion based and lack reason and logic.

Nobody is telling you to buy from Apple. What is being noted is your claims
about Apple forcing you to do anything is a lie. You do not have to buy
their stuff. Nobody is telling you to. Got it?

So use other tools. Does not change the fact that Apple has the best support
in the industry (as reported over and over by surveys that look into such
stuff).

You are playing into Carroll's hands. He is good at manipulating
weak-willed, emotion based people. Go look at the history of CSMA and see
what he did with Tim Adams, Wally, and even to some extent Sandman (the
latter being especially sad given how Sandman actually has a number of
redeeming qualities but allowed himself to get caught up in Carroll's
obsession and lies).

Last I checked, iPhones still ranked the highest in user satisfaction
surveys... but I do know there was at least one exception and there might be
more by now.

White Spurt : none of us, certainly not me, get "upset" by you making an
arse of yourself or ego driven boasting about how clever you are.

I DO understand the issues from a historical point of view and back
"when" OGL was not available as a solution for PC games and HW
acceleration - it was behind the curve. Thanks to pioneering work and
pushing the committees by the likes of Jon Carmac OGL is now back on the
horse - and a good thing too.

This is from 2008 : since then OGL has come on leaps and bounds.

Translation: Flatchest has been pwned and is reduced to projecting her

The only one owned is you, moron, when you lied and babbled about all
these OSX bugs that don't exist.

The fact that you bother to accuse me of lying (falsely, I might add)
indicates that you have also been pwned. Projecting your lack of nous
is just the icing on the cake.

  White Spirit:

If I made a list of bugs and problems with Mavericks, it would
put Snit's largely contrived list of KDE bugs to shame.
    -----

So far this claim is completely unsupported and, frankly, is complete and
utter BS. I find it amusing to see how many times you will dodge this fact.

Of course you lied when you said "If I made a list of bugs and problems
with Mavericks, it would put Snit's largely contrived list of KDE bugs
to shame."

Whenever you want to try and backup your lie:

1. Mint KDE bugs or Easter eggs? <http://youtu.be/CU-whJQvtfA>
2. Mint KDE working with folders: <http://youtu.be/7C9nvniOoE0>
3. Mint KDE creating files: <http://youtu.be/N7-fZJaJUv8>
4. Mint KDE help: <http://youtu.be/3ikizUd3sa8>
5. Mint KDE general navigation: <http://youtu.be/t9y14yZtQuI>

Note: Snit found all these bugs/issues himself - you'll do the same with
Mavericks of course. In one or more videos - they're easy to record and
post to YouTube.

Or you'll run as usual - like a babbling cola "advocate" always does
after spewing his lies.
