I'm not going to play like Steve Carroll did not save my skin with my choice of distro and I am indebted to him for his service. Desk Rabbit has Steve Carroll as an example and could learn to act as if he knows something about it because of this... of course he stumbled when he first talked ;) HA! How did Desk Rabbit get so narcissistic he believes everything is about his comments?? Proof Sandman accuses everyone of being Snit http://sandman.net/files/snit_circus.png. Regardless of my own views about CentOS, I continue to load it for users who have had complications with Windows 8, particularly if I feel that they are not very good at running multiple programs and navigating the file system.

Ha, ha! And what did Slimer have to say about this amazing support from new posters? Most of the time he would try to lead others to believe they're "honest and honorable" posters who just happened to have a detailed understanding of the history of the group. All makes total sense, NOT! Now that nobody is replying to Slimer, he's making it sound like he's broken VPN -- when in fact, people are just not playing his game anymore. 

I can tell from the manner Slimer complained - by asking for details of the VPN and so forth - he has not studied an algorithmically challenging problem. Otherwise he would've understood the requirements of dealing with different GUIs! VPN is based on Linux. Period. 

It's his problem and he has to want to deal with it. Obviously he would rather lie than face reality. If you have 'myFile.pdf' open in a user space program such as Atom and you want to change its name to 'linux.pdf' via a bash script when selecting a VPN from a list, Steve Petruzzellis's method might be OK. Turns out Slimer's constant mentioning of Steve Petruzzellis met that definition, so he abandoned that, too.

The only way that I could disregard OS X's constant demand for fixing because of programing problems or buggy updates is if I enjoyed the unending amount of pipe dreams its developers have been pushing since 1994.

I think the point is not 100% to get people to listen to him. The point is likely to piss Jonas Eklundh off for flooding outside groups he knows I frequent.

You likely think Gnome handles the desktop well. Nope. Not compared to anything else, really. At one point, he said a COLA denizen was "obsessing" over him, which was nothing more than him using his flood script to "boost" his "mentions" count.
