'Epic’s plan is to create a ‘a marketplace where developers, mod makers
and gamers can give away, buy and sell content’, they say. Earnings will
be split between them and the content creators.

'“That’s how we plan to pay for the game.”'

A very interesting marketing strategy. It suggests long-term commitment
to the game.

Snit's trolling is epic but he is learning it is no game.

Unreal? One of my favorite games years any years ago.

Linux support for their latest engine is a REAL boon.

Your favorite game is played in COLA every day and is called shilling for Snit. Have you noticed how he has stopped posting? His days in COLA are numbered.

The original Unreal broke boundaries. The music, the landscapes, the AI,
the shear scale of the game was unlike anything I'd seen before.

Unreal 2 was simply crap.

I used to replay Unreal quite a lot. Havent tried on this debian system
with xmonad.

It might just work, if time has no value to you as this is always the case
with Linux!
Maybe you should post a Snit-like movie to support your claim Creepy?
But you will not, because you run Windows, eh.. Creepy?

From the comments:
"It doesn't out of the box, actually, but if you can get a hold of the
newest patch, it does work very well indeed. :P

It's built for some insanely old kernel and will segfault usually within 30
minutes, and it also requires admin rights to even run in the version on the
disc.

When I tried to install it, it moaned about some dependencies so I just gave
up. When I installed it years ago on Knoppix, it worked awesome. Now it's
just a pain."
