When are you and your company going to switch to Linux Creepy?

PS "Infinite universes" suck arse since they are so non eventful with
single player it sucks. Ask Derek Smart.

You really are a suck up.

That said the game looks beautiful. But offers next to nothing compared
to EVE for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibLSP32rRWg#t=22
which features REAL multiplayer across the net.

What about it? Its a ground based game albeit with "moving on to other
planets". Looks pretty awful.

I hardly had to type anything to get "Hadron" frothing.

Hehe. Quack doesn't like to pass-up opportunities to show how shitty

Nothing to chuckle about Creepy. I've been following his progress. And I
use Linux professionally. You on the other hand QA closed source Windows
only proprietary SW.

Good one turd.

turd, do be quiet when I'm showing Creepy what a weenie he has
become. Haven't you got some Windows machine to reconfigure or maybe
an arse belonging to an MCSE to lick?

Funny how he didn't restrict the game to running only on Linux.

I guess he thinks virtually no sales would really be annoying.

DFS please check out a post yesterday from Creepy where "as he recalls"
he then quotes a French mathematician and genius. Creepy's pretentious
snivelling has hit a new low.

Another spastic Linux idiot gets his jollies from a one-off student
developer switching to Linux (for this one game anyway).

Wanna bet he won't release it or sell it only on Linux?

Regardless of the stupid Linux "community", this guy is building a space
sim by himself, with maybe one other developer to work on digital and
art 'assets'. The demos look very impressive for a one-man show.

I doubt he can sell it.

Stuff like EVE is too good and too entrenched and a lot more appealing
as a game.

What he is trying to do is a more beautiful and more reliable
Battlecruiser but without the bullshit that was Derek Smart
PhD(!). Smart would have made a great COLA "advocate" - he would have
made Creepy Chris Ahlstrom's showing off and Rexxie Ballard's outrageous
claims look like the stuff of beginners.

If the game is good it should sell well at a low price, $5 or $10.

The ONLY one who claims he has a Ph.D. is himself.

That lying negro once answered me directly, on a flame group, and said
something like "I like the white women!". I'm not kidding.

Here's a recent interview with the broad-nosed, prison-food-loving liar:
http://www.polygon.com/2012/11/14/3553620/the-redemption-of-derek-smart

"The perfect truth may be that Derek Smart has been making the same game
for almost two decades."

And "he estimates he has made over $100 million."

Proof will be along any minute...

Line of Defence is pretty good in fairness to him. if nothing else I do
admire his tenacity.

I should mention that they're stills. Stills always look good. To really
determine whether a product is good or not, we'll have to see it in
action. A one-man team shouldn't bother to make a 3D game and should
limit themselves to a 2D game but hell, I'll be happy to be proven wrong.

There are loads of videos if you wanted to actually look rather than
utter yet another clueless edict.

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=limit%20theory

And 2d or 3d is immaterial when he's dynamically generating the
landscapes. Thats the whole point of the game. It's like the old ideas
of fractal based play area generations.
