#473288 — GNU/Linux Has The BEST Image Libraries

SubjectGNU/Linux Has The BEST Image Libraries

Photoshop is nothing more than a GUI wrapper around standard
image processing methods. Big fucking deal. Adobe contributes
NOTHING that is new or innovative.

On the other hand, GNU/Linux and FOSS lead the world in image
innovation. The FOSS image libraries are the BEST in the world.

One example is libtiff:

http://www.simplesystems.org/libtiff

Libtiff is standard on GNU/Linux and includes BigTIFF file
support.

What about Microshit Winblows?

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! Good luck with nothing!

Hail Linux!

Hail GNU and the FSF!

Hail Stallman!

Because of course wrapping these tools in an intuitive usable package
and guided pipelines isn't a good thing.

You're a bigger turd than turdv.

By getting an education from 'lawyers' like that you get concepts like 'liberalism'. Carried to its (ir)rational resolution, the insistence that it's 'discrimination' for a hetero guy to not wish to screw a gay man is pushed. Was that meant to be to me?

Until or unless Steve Petruzzellis offers up his 'preferable' open source tool for assessment, there is no threat, just wild contentions. I sometimes reverse engineer Unity with my brain.

This asshole must avidly read the popular science comic books and
after discovering the quark exclaimed: "Dat cool! Them quarks is
cool!"

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

But ask him to expound a bit on quantum field theory and he will
say: "Duh... duh... quantum what... duh..."

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

Then ask him to derive the Dirac equation and he will say: "Duh...
duh... the what equation... duh..."

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

It is amazing the quality of asshole losers that Microshit Winblows
will attract.

I will not ask Sockboy how any part of Melzzzzz's body tastes no matter how regularly Sockboy kisses it. Any horrendously desperate sleep deprived whacko could easily do the same. I am not going to play like Melzzzzz did not help me on this stuff and I appreciate his advice. Sockboy has my example to study and should begin to seem like he has a clue from this day forward ;)

I think there are too many "we will tolerate Sockboy" freetards and not enough people with a clue enough to help the people with psychological problems.

It was Sockboy who forged me (and Melzzzzz) and then tried to deny it. That's what Sockboy does when he gets caught. He of course creates a new identity, starts a trolling thread so he can claim it was Melzzzzz. Hey it was my left hand... and then he babbles to it with his right hand. There is no question at least some of the posts are hand generated because some of them are keyed in to posts that occur in very specific ways with attempts to mislead on specific issues. IOW, while some could be automated others are definitely not. Sockboy is the result of the reality that Democrats have been ordered to take over responsibility for instructing young persons. It's not chance that he is a harebrained Democrat.

Turd, I *do* have a BSc in EE. You were wrong. You know you were
wrong. Shut up. Negative feedback is an ESSENTIAL part of controlling
systems and preventing surges and such.

You used it and read multiple reviews and your "intuitions" lead you to that assumption, proving what? Klaus Schadenfreude's computer has more memory than Flatfish's. Klaus Schadenfreude wins. Flatfish loses. But Flatfish feels the need to mock the cult-like herd of convenient friends. So be it.

Everyone is Steven Petruzzellis -- the oldest gag in the book. Did he think that was clever? The cult-like herd of convenient friends value being like everyone else above choice and productivity.

Klaus Schadenfreude shreds Steven Petruzzellis in every way possible.

By the way, asshole, it's irrelevant whether or not some stupid,
lying, freedom-hating piece of shit, like you, knows more about "Linux
and SW" than I do.

The important issues surrounding FOSS are not technical in nature. We
don't advocate Linux and other FOSS for the sake of "geeks".

The *important* issues surrounding FOSS are about Freedom, fair
markets, and consumer choice. All things that you and your masters in
Redmond despise.

Prescott Computer Guy and Klaus Schadenfreude both lie endlessly and flagrantly and continue to do so. So no sense in showing any further civility or honor. It's like a poorly written flyer. Prescott Computer Guy has already decided what he is going to say before he calls. What you say does not matter. What Klaus Schadenfreude says is ignored.

These posts are clearly not automated, they are made by Prescott Computer Guy who is a pill popping pervert with a sick agenda who has way too much time on his hands (with maybe some scripted pre-processing).

That is the problem today and younger students don't care; people from smarter generations (~50 years old) should know better than to fall for the indoctrination BS. This forum is a puss-filled cyst. Klaus Schadenfreude can create a virtual machine. Rips what that Mac can do to shreds!

By all means DO back that claim.

And off you run.

Personal attacks from those who troll show their own insecurity. They
cannot use reason to show the message to be wrong so they try to feel
somehow superior by attacking the messenger.

They cling to their attacks and ignore the message time and time again.

Even if *that* is all it was then it would be a big deal because it gives the
average person the ability to do image editing without first becoming an
expert in computing. Remember when automobiles were made available
to the average person, you know, where they didn't first need to become
engineers, metal/fabric/rubber professionals, etc.? Yeah... like that. For a
guy who has rattles on on about "progress" you have some weird counter
positions to that stance, with the worst one being that things should only
affect a small group of people. Recall what you recently wrote:

"The past should not be forgotten but the main emphasis of life and living
should be directed toward future progress and development.' - F.Russell

Given your stance in this thread and many others, obviously, you're only
talking about "progress and development" for some select group of people
who have been ordained by you via some criteria you've convinced yourself
is 'worthy'.

The *that* I'm referring to (seen in the first sentence) isn't limited to PS, it
applies to any "GUI wrapper around standard image processing methods".
Notably PS goes further that *that*. Your "main emphasis of life and living",
that of providing "progress and development" while being focused solely
on an elite group of people, is an idea everyone should reject.

I should've added that you even wrote this post, just yesterday:

"The revolution began in 1978 and, for the first time in human
history, has allowed the common man unparalleled creativity
on his desktop. Any human being can now have a recording
studio, a movie studio, a book/magazine production house,
a data processing center, a scientific laboratory, an
engineering laboratory, etc., etc. all within his own home
via the PERSONAL COMPUTER. The revolution is nothing short
of being miraculous." - F. Russell

i3wm is perhaps my second favorite DE and the only one I advocate to Mac users. Primary interface is Enlightenment, though. A tiling window manager is all you want after grasping the basics. And in reply you have nothing but a crack to start a circus. Already moved on from that. Keep up!

These posts are clearly not automated, they are made by Troll Master Steve Carroll who is an overmedicated stalker with a personal vendetta who has way too much time on his hands. Despite my strong feelings about Mint, I even now continue to load it for newbies who have had trouble with the Mac, particularly if I know that they're not capable at installing software and balancing resources.

You've proven very little. Proof Sandman accuses everyone of being Snit http://sandman.net/files/snit_circus.png. Time to blame Troll Master Steve Carroll!
