#473255 — GNU/Linux Math Power

From"F. Russell" <fr@random.info>

SubjectGNU/Linux Math Power

Are you looking for math power? GNU/Linux has the BEST
on the planet:

https://www.gnu.org/software/gsl

The GSL is developed by world-class scientists at the
prestigious Los Alamos National Laboratory and at other
top-tier academic and government institutions across
the globe.

Furthermore, these developers DO NOT LIKE MICRO$OFT.
They have developed GSL for GNU/Linux ONLY and will
NEVER release a Micro$oft port.

(GSL will only run on Microshit by using the "virtual
Linux" environment known as Cygwin.)

Is there a better proof that the most talented people
on the planet earth consider Micro$oft to be pure junk
and not worthy of their professionalism?

Hail Linux!

Hail GNU and the FSF!

Hail Stallman!

Only what Steve Carroll wants matters to Steve Carroll. There is nothing you or I can do to change that. It's a mental health problem and it is what it is. Sandman and the advocates imply asking for advice for an RMS-approved application is instigating.

I am not going to play like Sandman did not save my skin on encryption and I am indebted to him for it. Steve Carroll has this thread to copy and could begin to at least pretend he is no longer complete ignorant from here on.

You do realize that the massive floods ending up in multiple groups started out in COLA, right? You haven't been here to fully figure out the depths of Steve Carroll's narcissism. Turns out Steve Carroll's non-stop flooding comments of Sandman met the agreed on criteria of trolling, so he accused Sandman of making that up.

Lying sack of shit does it every time. Then the deluge begins. Because the sissy just has to run to other groups in an effort to get attention from someone. Anyone. Your system will crawl while downloading the mass of flood posts.

--
"You'll notice how quickly he loses interest when everything is about him. He clearly wants the attention"
Steve Carroll, making the dumbest comment ever uttered.

Wrong again!
Do you even bother to read your links?

You aren't a very good troll.

https://www.gnu.org/software/gsl/

It has been reported to compile on the following other platforms,

SunOS 4.1.3 & Solaris 2.x (Sparc)
Alpha GNU/Linux, gcc
HP-UX 9/10/11, PA-RISC, gcc/cc
IRIX 6.5, gcc
m68k NeXTSTEP, gcc
Compaq Alpha Tru64 Unix, gcc
FreeBSD, OpenBSD & NetBSD, gcc
Cygwin
Apple Darwin 5.4
Hitachi SR8000 Super Technical Server, cc
Microsoft Windows
Several people have contributed tools to allow GSL to be easily built on
Windows platforms. More information can be found here.

That's not the "best" numerical library; it's just one of dozens.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_numerical_libraries

Few to none are Linux only.

page 2 of the reference:

"the library is fully portable and should compile on most systems with
a C compiler."

Another junky, unprofessional, poorly researched Feeb post.

Is this idiot related to that retard "7"? Sounds like it. He probably
thinks his threads are 500x the speed of Windows ones....

At least he doesn't think that "Mono is a wonderful attempt to bring
applications developed for Windows to the Linux desktop", like one
MIcro$oft-lover I once knew.
