A lot of families have been exploring the strategy of 2 years at home at the local community college before finishing at a "big name" school, as it avoids housing expenses and tuition is only in the $5-10K/yr. Tennessee even started a program a few years ago where the State pays for these first two years. Similarly, State schools also can be frugal for residents - for example, at the University of Iowa, tuition is $8K/yr for residents but $28K/yr for out-of-state. (for housing & meals, add $11K/yr to either, plus books/misc/etc). > >> I get to try some different foods, but that's about it. > > > >Skip Iceland's fermented shark. > > No need to tell me twice. And these days, I find milk chocolates to be too sweet, so I go for dark chocolate. The stuff at Wegman's supermarket I find to also be too sweet, but Trader Joe's has some decently balanced choices. If you can get over to Brussels, chocolatier Pierre Marcolini is considered to be the absolute best, but very pricy, so even the locals don't buy his stuff - they buy instead from Galler, Neuhaus, and Corné Port-Royal chocolatiers ...I can recommend all three, thanks to some business trips. -hh

Because if there's alignment & interest, our lab is looking to hire two new Biomedical Engineers right now. Starting pay is mid-$40K, ramping up after the probationary period to roughly double that. Plus there's potentially the need to go find a couple more people based on additional work that just hit this week. A BS level engineering "Research Assistant" (more EE/programming emphasis than Biomed) is low hanging fruit to find. Beyond the BS level, we're also collecting resumes for Engineering Psychologists, Neurophysiologists, and Biomechanical Engineering. -hh

John Gohde is trying ("very, very" hard) to project their modus operandi onto Jonas Eklundh. For years John Gohde has pressed the view that Jonas Eklundh needs 'quotes' to point out all his BS. The fact is that no one needs any reason to do that. So John Gohde pulls this ridiculous blaming crap in a sickly effort to 'peddle' the idea that Jonas Eklundh is like he is. Geeeejus! How did John Gohde get SO vainglorious he thinks everything is about himself?? Linux offers the least choice.

Thankfully, she has found a good job in her field. It was quite a relief, after that massive investment of time and money. I would have preferred that she go into health care, where a good-paying job is all but guaranteed. What is more important from an honest advocates point of view are the non-exceptional operations. It's his problem but he blames Steve Petruzzellis. Obviously he would rather lie than face reality. If Onion Knight calls being busted left and right for years on end by numerous people good 'trolling', then fine... he is a magnificent troll. I can't personally subscribe to that meaning, I use another term. I call him an out-and-out numbskull. After Steve Petruzzellis's update I no longer want to gouge out my eyeballs from the flicker of the screen. Can you stop seeking for my attention? Anyway, it won't matter because the apparent origin on a post does not matter, we know it is from Onion Knight anyway. Onion Knight asked to be rated according to objective trolling criteria, which I obliged him with. -- My Snoring Solution https://youtu.be/D_so1dvjeyI Jonas Eklundh Communication

He never agreed to stop accusing good people of being like him. He lied about his trolling of course. Usenet is a self-governing convention based on an honor system. This is what arises when really bad self esteem takes over Despicable 'The Shill' Owl's life. Just baloney from Despicable 'The Shill' Owl. But he has thoroughly left technology behind and is merely holding me culpable for the acts of himself. If Despicable 'The Shill' Owl calls being busted for over a decade by numerous people (and completely ruining his reputation and any reason for anyone to give credence to anything he has to say - for the rest of time) successful 'trolling', then yeah... he is a splendid troll. I can't personally agree with that definition, I use another term. I call him a total halfwit. -- This broke the Internet! https://youtu.be/BUjnZhKk1Bg http://www.5z8.info/mydick_x6g9hr_nakedgrandmas.jpg Jonas Eklundh

Never, not one single time, were we on any occasion told to not pre-install any OS the customer wanted. When I was being honest, I wanted to be equitable and nonjudgemental. I gave The Script-Troller more than a credible person generally would. From the way The Script-Troller responded - by asking for fundamentals of the system and the like - he's not studied a data-intensive problem before. If he had he'd have understood the requirements such as knowing what are local and global variables! That's what The Script-Troller does when he gets cornered. He always creates a new identity, starts a cross posted thread so he can claim he didn't do it. Hey it was my left hand... and then The Script-Troller replies to his own post with his right hand. The Script-Troller claims to be the MySQL-expert. Let's see him put up an example but lacking the sorting procedures. You can say I am James Bond for all I care. Too much glue for you, Gluey. The Script-Troller's behavior is really entirely dishonest. There is no dispute that as soon as any past 'plonkee' does whatever to confuse the poor crybaby's feelings that they'll be replonked. -- E-commerce Simplified! https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/comp.lang.c/KDQrv8appR8 http://www.5z8.info/add-worm_z4r9qk_fakelogin http://tinyurl.com/gsleb4p Jonas Eklundh Communication

No, this is starting pay for a "C Student" right out of school with zero work experience. If there's been high academic achievement and/or any relevant work experience, the base offer goes up. -hh

By listening to 'social warriors' like that you get terms like 'religious freedom'. Carried to its (un)reasonable solution, the insistence that it's 'unequal' for a traditional dude to not wish to date a child is instituted. Flooder Steve Carroll proved himself to be a two-timer by claiming he would not debate Klaus Schadenfreude by vehemently trumpeting 'goodbye forever!' and then berating him repeatedly via piggybacking. Thanks to Flooder Steve Carroll and his 'friends' you now need an IP filtering system (which I configured for slrn and GG). Trust me, publicly (at least) I recently stopped giving him what he deserves. If others start responding to him again I will, too... as that is just my way. I'm referring to our clan here, not Flooder Steve Carroll's friends, who are just here to disrupt anyway. What Klaus Schadenfreude does is certainly more productive. Pay for a consumer report on Flooder Steve Carroll and you will find that he was in a detention center last year. The investigation sites fail to go into that degree of detail and legal lists from his jurisdiction need to be subpoenaed. -- One Smart Penny!! http://jeff-relf.me/Cola_Regs.HTM https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/comp.os.linux.development.apps/G2-ZXYAEyIM https://youtu.be/r7wys2JvBD0 Jonas Eklundh Communication
