And XChat just happens to be an excellent IRC program. I prefer mIRC in
Windows, but can't help but notice that XChat, since the very beginning,
had a lot more features which would appeal to IRC regulars. It's too bad
that Facebook and the other social networks kind of replaced IRC. It was
an excellent place to work on your wit.

Amazing.

How very very sad.

Even a complete and utter arsekisser like Ahlstrom surprises me here
with his blatant attempts to change history.

Yes. But not the most recent version, I didn't like it when it started
to look like W OS 8, granted I could have customized it but instead
I chose a different distro which I then customized a bit and I was
happy until that computer finally died by way of a fried power supply
and motherboard.

Both Ubuntu and Mint were very stable for me. Vista had problems
though resident Windows supporters here on COLA tried to blame on the hardware but it corrected when I wiped the W OS away.

Some people shouldn't be allowed near computers.

If you actually want to solve your problem (probably caused by shit
hardware powered by a 20$ power supply), go to the Windows-8 forum. The
people there will actually help to solve the problem if you describe it
properly.

I suspect alt.idiots would be more appropriate.

I doubt that'll get him the help that he wants. They'll just suggest
that he take a hammer to the machine in order to scare the ghosts out.
Either that or they'll suggest that he bleed the machine to get rid of
the virus which is surely causing the problem.

lol !

He needs a couple of leeches to suck the poisoned blood out of the
machine.
He should look to the GNU/Linux/FOSS community. They are full of
leeches.

ROFL. Something tells me that Chris AssStorm has a lot of experience

Post the details of the crashes, from your Windows event logs.

Or run away like a cola lamer ALWAYS does.

I'll bet you a night with Snatch the Clown's wife (value: 0$) that it's
a problem with the graphics driver or a RAM issue. Considering he indeed
mentioned that the graphics would crash and then restart but never
seemed to post anything about it blue-screening (am I wrong?), it looks
like it's simply a faulty driver that he never bothered to update.

From what I can tell, he's using a pre-built system from the likes of
Dell, HP or Lenovo. Unlike bright people, he never tested the RAM (which
is covered under warranty) and never bothered to do the manufacturer
updates which, as many of us know, can easily be done using the software
the manufacturer provided. Instead, he kept everything in its default
state opening up an opportunity to troll and make a complete ass out of
himself à la Snatch the Clown. I would be VERY curious those event
logs... if he even knows what and where they are.

Tell your girlfriend that it'll be over soon and that her permanent
departure from this group will put an end to the "stalking."

He and flatfish are throwing a tantrum, encouraged by Carroll.

It is weird how they love to be controlled by others.

This Slimer has serious issues. A dumb as a brick and a wielder of the
most ridiculous ideas about Linux I've ever heard.

The fact he has bizarre ideas is fine by me - the fact he cannot use any
reason or logic or evidence to support them, and the fact he gets so angry
when he fails - those are the things that make me think he is just playing
stupid or is really just an idiot.
