Only people with an IQ equal or greater than ROlf should attempt
installing Win10 or any applications. Got it?

i'm pretty sure windows 10 works great just as long as you don't install anything else in it...

that's why Mac/apple work great when it came out...nothing existed that you could install in it.

Dos 1.0 worked great...

then people bought virus software before they had a virus...so i had to sell them virues so they can test their virus software.

If anything, Unix has no handicap when it comes to "professional
programming". Applications for small verticals and big studio games are the
usual "monopoly" problem.

Sadly that doesn't actually disable Microsoft's subversive "update"
mechanism, which uses multiple components to override a supposedly
"disabled" updates service, and delivers updates by stealth anyway.

This is well documented by respected Windows experts and journalists.

http://www.zdnet.com/article/confirmed-microsoft-is-fiddling-with-system-files-without-permission

And now it seems Microsoft is at it again.

http://www.networkworld.com/article/3004029/microsoft-subnet/microsoft-pushing-windows-10-upgrade-without-users-permission.html

Microsoft has gone from OEM racketeer to malware vendor. I'm not sure
which I find more detestable.

It's only honest "mistakes" that they are making, you know. They are
not really tricky bastards who would stoop so low as to do force an
upgrade without your permission. They would not stoop so low as to
pop-up a Window which has only the options "uprade now" or "upgrade
later"...

No, not poor old, innocent decrepit Microsoft. They're just trying to
"help you" -- you know -- enjoy all the "benefits" of an even more closed
system in Windows 10.

I've found that GWX Panel at least warns you when slinking Microsoft is
trying to slither in with another Windows 10 upgrade in your computer. It
also deletes the Windows 10 files Microsoft so "helpfully" downloads for
you without your permission. So far my wife and kids have managed to
avoid Windows 10. Hopefully on July 29th Microsoft will give up on their
malware campaign.

It's only good to use this shit completely OFFLINE or cut the sucker off the grid at the firewall. Then also any non-M$ virii cannot get into it ;-) Only *NIXes deserve to have a LAN/WiFi card in them.

They probably do have permission, in the form of a clause in the EULA.

Plus, "The software is licensed, not sold."

MS should've been pushing out non-optional code updates all along for
certain classes of updates, but always telling users it would happen.

I used to do that with my end-user apps (they were internal corporate
apps with no EULA, but certain updates were pushed out automatically).

Very lame, if they're doing it intentionally - which they must be,
considering it's happened more than once. Once may be an error, but not
twice or three times.

> Microsoft has gone from OEM racketeer to malware vendor.

So use Linux.

Non-problem replaced with a real problem.

People like you and shitv - who lie through their cig-stained teeth year
after year but consider themselves 'morally superior' - are just as
detestable, Hypocrite.
