Q: How many lawyers does it take to change a light bulb?
A: Whereas the party of the first part, also known as "Lawyer", and the

non-negotiable. Upon reaching a point where the party of the second part
becomes fully detached from the receptacle, the party of the first part shall
have the option of disposing of the party of the second part in a manner
consistent with all relevant and applicable local, state and federal statutes.
Once separation and disposal have been achieved, the party of the first part
shall have the option of beginning installation. Aforesaid installation shall
occur in a manner consistent with the reverse of the procedures described in
step one of this self-same document, being careful to note that the rotation
should occur in a clockwise direction, this point also being non-negotiable.
The above described steps may be performed, at the option of the party of the
first part, by any or all agents authorized by him, the objective being to
produce the most possible revenue for the Partnership.

What a load of crap the owl troll spews. I use Linux Mint. My 83 year-old
Dad uses Linux Mint. He doesn't have to bring it over for malware
maintenance because it works (unlike the malware magnet / bitrot magnet
Windows Crap). If he wants to see what GUI programs he has loaded, he
clicks the Menu button, clicks All under Applications and scrolls down
the list. Or he can Click the Menu button, then click Software Manager,
where he graphically views all installed programs by category -- or all
available programs by category. He can also install from the same GUI
Software Manager. I'm sure other distributions of Linux have similar
capabilities -- either pre-installed or available for installation. How
much more dishonest can these small-minded, lying trolls be?

My 80-year old dad also runs Mint. Before that he ran Ubuntu.
Before that it he ran SuSE. I weaned him off Windows over 15
years ago.

However, if you want to save the state of your installed software, and use
it to automatically reinstall all of your software to a new installation of
Debian (something that Windows doesn't even come close to doing -- you have
to use a product like Ghost, and I'm not sure that will work on a different
piece of hardware without some major handsprings), you can indeed use the
command-line to streamline the process:

In 10 they are trying to integrate both desktops into one and they use menu for that which is ugly and *inconsistent*... then again someone sane provided windows for modern apps, as who would like full screen app on 27" screen ;)
