These weren't subjective accusations. The record is there for you to see
his racist remarks.

Because you butted your nose in a public post that was of no relevance to
you. You decided to make your business, hence you support by implication
your racist bent and support of Fabian. OTW, you would have left it alone,
but you didn't.

But right now, seeing that I post to cola alone, why are you cross posting?
The next post will be to cola only. Then you'll have to follow me if you
continue with your silly whining.

I see his remarks, that they are racist is a subjective claim on your part.

Did you mean "IOW" (in other words)? In any event, as you say these are
public posts, open to anyone who wishes to participate. You have no say
in who contributes remarks. Also, decrying your "racist" accusation does
not imply support for anyone's remarks.

I don't care where you post, I read the remarks you made in sci.physics
and that's where I shall post mine. If that inconveniences you, too bad.
If you choose to remove sci.physics from the newsgroups line you'll be
talking to yourself.

Yet you are supporting his racist comments.
Keep twisting on the end of your rope in the wind, troll.

Yeah, right, troll.... now go fuck off like a good little boy.

That's why a lot of people buy tablets, particularly ones running iOS.
It might not be the best to type out your Facebook status updates, but
Bluetooth keyboards remedy that problem fairly quickly.

You mean like 90% of the population. I imagine that the 1.5% of the
world's population using Linux are brainiacs like Peter the Klöwn,
cumstainv and Wideload Porkster.

The horror of having a pre-configured operating system! I can't imagine
how many complaints Microsoft gets on a daily basis from users who have
useful, ready-to-use computers. They're particularly annoyed by the fact
that fixing a problem is incredibly easy. They would much rather be
looking for obscure files and entering bizarre strings into them.

Like 90% of the population.

A comprehensible name? Those monsters!

Because some neck-bearded Linux loser said so?

Those spaces are only a problem once the files have been transferred to
Linux which, for God knows what reason, has trouble handling them. I've
lost a number of music files as a result of Linux deciding that certain
things are unacceptable. It's one of the things which pushed me away
from Linux entirely.

An observation that I was also thinking, when I saw a recent troll's
"20% of desktop capable" claim: the technical computing requirements
for running a mere desktop aren't that stringent anymore in comparison
to what hardware can be put into something as small as a USB thumb
drive form factor. Add to that how there's been a boatload of dirt
cheap USB thumb drive based media machines ... Google Chromecast,
Roku Streaming Stick, Amazon Fire TV Stick, etc ... and the reality
is that the bar for 'capable' is quite low today: pretty much the
cost to fill the gas tank in one's car, which does not make for a
profound claim regarding what OS happens to be installed on it.

Not at all. You're putting too lofty a bar for what a desktop should
be used for.

"Serious and extensive COMPUTIING"? Really? What does that even mean?

Document production (what people do at work and at home) is not all
that hard from a computing standpoint and is easily done on most
smartphones and tablets.

Image processing is most often quite simple, and can be done even on
many tablets and phones. Higher end "Photoshoppng" doesn't even
really need a high end computer anymore - an i3 laptop or desktop can
easily run Photoshop and its most powerful professional uses. See
below[1].

App programming itself needs but an editor and compiler - you don't
need all that much "power" at all. Admittedly doing so on a fast
machine is more fun.

Simulations need not be done on a desktop. There are dozens and dozens
of mainframe and servers for rent that host virtual environments of
many kinds. Much more powerful than any desktop available. And you
rent the time and only that time that you run your simulation. Cheaper
than building a faster machine.

I think your 'model' of what computers are and are not is seriously distorted.

[1] Apple's most recent iPad Pro is the breakout product for creatives
who do not want to be tied to a desktop.

Neither "tablet" nor "computer" it's the best of all worlds. Powerful
processing tied to a large display for creatives to use. Optional
stylus and keyboard according to the need of the user.

PS: all caps to punctuate is a bit silly. I think you have an
inferiority complex.

That's ol' Fabtard for ya.
