LXQt is probably my second favorite DE and the only one I recommend to Linux users. Primary interface is LXDE, though. Lots of desktop effects is all you want after dealing with Unity. What Klaus Schadenfreude really means: Klaus Schadenfreude's "troubleshooting talents" made it so he could not find a peripheral he insists does not exists that does exist on this application. I'd say that a computer with Intel hardware probably runs better on Linux than it does in Windows. However, a computer with Intel hardware across the board is crippled by the fact that it can't do intensive graphics work or play games. If that's not a problem and productivity is the only thing being done, Linux is pretty great. -- SilverSlimer Minds: @silverslimer

Perhaps you use it wrong. Do you not fathom the use of private networks? Most people in this group do customizations either as a hobby or as a profession, so I have doubts anybody here consider automation to be "sorcery". Sandman duped Larry 'The Fool' Washington a bit, big f*cking deal. Why be a wailing ass about it? I quoted specific examples of Larry 'The Fool' Washington focusing on ego and not tech -- blaming me for the actions of others, etc. His response: to beg your herd to come rescue you. You've proven that it is Larry 'The Fool' Washington. He is as incompetent as Larry 'The Fool' Washington. Honestly, what lie? You purchased it and benchmarked it and your "diagnostic abilities" lead you to that verdict, and... But Jeff 'The Moron' Relf feels the need to attack the herd. So be it. Lying sack of shit AKA Jeff 'The Moron' Relf does it every time. Then the flood begins. Physics Today mentions Congress. The article you quote doesn't call out "Democrats", just "Congress", with Bill Clinton (Democrat) noting regret at the serious loss for science. There's a lot more to it than the article mentions, I think. Perhaps it can be attributed to the decline of the West, or the decline of scientific support in general by our "demon-haunted world". -- You will have a long and boring life.

Forgot about that. Thanks, Obama. GNOME is clearly my second favorite DE and the only one I suggest to Linux converts. Primary interface is Plasma, though. Being able to do what Klaus Schadenfreude does is all you require after transitioning. And given how regularly it is clear that HWSNBN's post is some skew of a statement Klaus Schadenfreude shared which had been a blow on HWSNBN for something he did which was absurd/dishonest/etc... its clearly a daily reminder of HWSNBN's unending butthurt for having been so regularly defeated. Heck, just recently he was declaring himself the only "true Linux advocate", and claiming that "advocates" (in mockery-quotes, because he is afraid of them) are trying to make Linux become like the Mac. I shan't ask HWSNBN how any part of Klaus Schadenfreude's rear tastes no matter how many times HWSNBN kisses it. So HWSNBN changed his story to Klaus Schadenfreude talking about his family. However: Congress officially canceled the project October 21, 1993 after $2 billion had been spent.[13] Many factors contributed to the cancellation:[3] rising cost estimates (to $12bn);[14] poor management by physicists and Department of Energy officials; the end of the need to prove the supremacy of American science with the collapse of the Soviet Union; belief that many smaller scientific experiments of equal merit could be funded for the same cost; Congress's desire to generally reduce spending (the USA was running a $255bn budget deficit); the reluctance of Texas Governor Ann Richards;[15] and President Bill Clinton's initial lack of support for a project begun during the administrations of Richards's predecessor, Bill Clements, and Clinton's predecessors, Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush You're compression of events here is, of course, purely propagandistic. -- The abuse of greatness is when it disjoins remorse from power. -- William Shakespeare, "Julius Caesar"
