I think you're (again) confusing the usenet with a classroom. The 
classroom stays with you. Inside your home. Unless you take courses or 
formally register as a student in a nice university. Some like-minded 
guys are there.

Usenet is a lounge. For Linux matters it is powerful enough for 
communicating its detail as opposed to in physics forum where it utterly 
lacks the tools cause those forums are packed with "engineers." They 
don't have such need. They're cook-book creatures. So the needed tools 
never developed in them.

So at least you have the element of communicating Linux matters with 
others. The Linux commands don't make use of an nxn matrix or an 
expression that requires 6 lines to be written. But that's the end of 
it. The rest involves others and is of course out of your control cause 
it's not a classroom where you can complain and get any result. These 
"others" are quite often some sick people. For that you _only_ have the 
kill file feature.
