Okaaaay...so have you ever tried Linux?  A great distro is Linux Mint:

   https://linuxmint.com/download.php

You can download it, write it to a USB stick, and boot the stick to try
it out.  If you like it, you can install it on your internal storage.

It even has a tool to shrink your Windows partition to make room
for Linux.

OR -- since Linux is now part of Windows, you can just use the so-called
"Windows Subsystem for Linux", and run Linux on Windows!
