I share with you how to make money from Linux: Making money with Linux ----------------------- The whole idea of making money with Linux has always been you can set up your own distros and own markets add content and charge what you want. You don't need permission from anyone. Evidently google and many other companies are adept at it. They have put Linux into their server farms and their smartphones, streaming sticks, laptops. If google made routers, IPWebcams, audio, cameras (which exist with Android), with Linux then they will be immensely successful with it again because Linux makes tons of money for everyone who invest their time. Google already exceeded Appil valuation twice this year to become the most valuable company in the world using Linux. Its sensible to switch to Linux. And its looking like Linux has taken half of Appil's lunch these 2 quarters. Sales are down 50% and orders for supplies are down 30% with inventory pile up. So Linux has great rewards for all those who use it and expand their products with Linux embedded inside. Those who stick with proprietary continue to loose market share. Most new ARM PC board makers start with Linux as their distro of choice and do kickstarter funding. There is so much demand for innovative stuff now and Linux is free, that no one needs to look left or look right to get to market. In China, maker fares and seed companies seem to have merged into one hot housing ideas factory where products are born by the hour and turn into large companies in days with Linux to power their gadgets. This is where Europe should be going. Set up large fairly open space offices in large hanger for makers and seed companies to rent space at minimalist price so that they can make and sell products to visitors, to each other, and once a day or so, a new product will be born suitable for crowd funding, which raises enough money to pay all the taxes for this kind of funding and hot housing to take place.
