I've gotten to the point that I only want to purchase the best product, regardless of politics. For me, that's usually Apple. However, I am not a fan of not being able to upgrade my machine or change its components. Going from the 2TB encrypted nvme and 32GB of RAM I currently have to any Mac would feel like a significant downgrade. I think we're in the same boat as far as technology goes.
