Capitalization is important. Most people would write, "...helping your
Uncle Jack off a horse." But you would write, "...helping your uncle
jack off a horse."

Hardly ever.

of yours in here where the capitalization matters in the
sense that she was clearly talking about.

I should have added the other than poor education it can show
laziness.

I notice that you start all of your sentences with a capital letter.
Why?

It can also show a deliberate choice.

I quite often don't bother to capitalize the names of countrys.

> Why?

I find it makes the text more readable.

I also clean up the quoting quite a bit of the time and you are too lazy to
do that.

Want to try to spell the plural of the word "country" again Mr.

Or people who just plain don't give a shit. I give a shit and try to
do all this little stuff correclty. In texting my wife *both* of us
capitalize appropriate words, the beginning of a sentence. We don't
use abbreviations, we use apostraphes. It takes a lot of time. We're
unsure why we insist on doing it, but we do.

In email to others I have always provided a salutation. I still do:

Dear Bob,

Apparently NOBODY does that any more ever. I see it so rarely I
usually think it's one of my emails.

Are those of us who don't read every thread supposed to know what this
refers to? To me it seems to be totally out of the blue.

Its rather unlikely that he actually has an uncle jack, and even if
he does, that he actually has a horse, and even if he has, that he
needs to be assisted to get off that horse.
