In a Apps magazine some of the apps have the word 'iPad' and others have
the word 'iPad' + (as well as iPhone +) as the type of device the app will
work on. What type of iPad are they referring to when 'iPad +' is shown
next to the app?

I think they're not talking about a specific model; I think they mean
something (e.g., iPhone) in addition to the iPad. Is there a link you
can give us to something that has an example of what you're referring
to?

The magazine is called 'iPhone, iPad & Android Apps magazine'.

Airport Scanner is listed for the iPhone+
The console Conversion is listed for the iPad+
IMuscle 2 is listed for the iPad
Stearclear is listed for the iPhone

Another examples:
My Talking Pet is listed for the iPad+
7 Differences is listed for the iPad+

I was thinking that the 'plus' must refer to recent releases of the iPad
but there is not reference in the magazine to indicate what model iPad they
are referring to.
They have a web site of www.knowyourapps.com

That'd be my guess, Apple itself uses the "+" sign in the iTunes store
to indicate Universal apps. Though listing some apps as 'iPad+' and
others as 'iPhone+' doesn't make a lot of sense, in that case...

There's no such thing as an iPad or iPhone +. Which magazine is this?
