I talk about this one:

Chrome. It works flawlessly on my phone and my tablet, and synchronises
everything between those and my Windows 7 desktop machines.

I'm not. On Android, that is.

I don't have a favorite of default browser. Depending on
my mood, phase of the moon, or similar technical factors,
I choose on a per case basis for Dolphin Zero, Dolphin,
Ghostery, Firefox or Opera. For each of them I've turned
off all permissions except Storage.

Chrome. It's a pig with RAM but on the upside it has tab sync and also
offers to "make page mobile friendly" which I find very useful.

I also use Link Bubble which loads web pages in the background and when
done one can just pop open the loaded web pages with no
waiting. Convenient when opening a bunch of links from a news aggregate.

Firefox because it supports advert blocking extensions.

Also to keep the same browser on phone, tablet and laptops.

If I happen to follow a link from e.g. the "genie" news and weather app,
to a newspaper website, it's amazing how much more annoying the popups
and banners are on a small screen.

I meant to point out that this uses the built-in "WebView"
