 Two reports from Dave Royal about restoring a backup. One was right,
 and the defect went further than he had seen.

  * Restoring no longer duplicates filters and identities. He noticed
    that a restore ADDED his filters instead of replacing them;
    checking the code showed IDENTITIES had the same problem.
    Restoring is now IDEMPOTENT: restoring the same file twice leaves
    exactly the same state. Filters are matched on name, field, match
    type, pattern and group scope; identities on their nickname, which
    the backup format already used as a key to re-link servers.
  * Restoring now asks how: Merge or Replace. The real defect was not
    "adds instead of replacing": it was that one operation did THREE
    different things (dedup on servers and subscriptions, blind insert
    on filters and identities, overwrite on settings). Neither option
    touches servers, subscriptions or downloaded articles: deleting a
    server would take its groups and messages with it.
  * "Wrong password" no longer covers import errors. The dialog
    decrypted AND imported inside one guarded block, so a failure in
    the second step was announced as a problem with the first.

Since now same release number but with a small improvement.
