I use it all the time when at home.   But using it makes things very public and if you are someplace with people within 
earshot then you might as well make a phone call.

And that brings a 2nd pet peeve that I hate having to listen to personal conversations all the time.   Especially 
quarrels.   Yesterday some guy was yelling at the top of his lungs so loud I almost couldn't understand it and for a 
moment I thought he was on drugs flipping out and having a psychotic episode till I finally picked up that he had a 
phone to his ear and was flipping out with the person on the other end.   But everyone was privy to this.
