Just to follow up, this was for someone who misplaced her phone and wanted to see if she could remotely locate it. It wasn't about a stolen phone. But, another thought that I had is that even if someone already has a program like Where's My Droid installed and configured on their phone, couldn't someone who steals that phone just see that the program is installed and uninstall it from the manage apps screen?
