There is a trial/demo version of OziExplorer that will do what you want,
http://www.oziexplorer.com/. It will take a learning curve.

Use gpsbabel so save a version of your track to a Ozi plt file.
Install and open OziExplorer.
Under the "Map" menu bar item open a "Blank Map."
Select the "Load" button and then select from the pulldown menu "Load Track
from File." Load the track file you converted to plt.
Under the "View" menu bar option select "Tracks" from the pulldown menu
which will give you a pulldown menu containing "Tracks Profile."
Now you will have available all the information you want.

I tried find a simple offline program but was unable to. I believe the
OziExplorer demo version does not have an expiration date.

Good Luck!
