Great with such considered response so far. Sure, *how* I do go about my business is more important than my tools. Finding myself with a pocket-sized computer with more power than the computers I learned F77 on back in 1980 had, I thought it would be a shame not to utilize it and since I am somewhat new to apps I thought I'd better ask. I will give Fast Notepad a spin. One reviewer even states it is much better than what my device comes with :-) Unit Converter by Wopnersoft looks really promising. I have tried Bosch's converter app. It is really clean and easy to use but also quite limited. Yes, a QR code reader can come in handy. Adding an Office Suite is a secondary concern but I have made a note of looking at WPS Office. Some ideas of my own: The calculator I have in mind is called Calculator++. I have some experience of it already and it is impressive. Not RPN though. From windows I have some experience of CCleaner and I see there is an Android version too. Since Dassault recommend CCleaner in one of their marketing videos I guess it is not very likely to be nefarious. For data transfer/synchronising I consider using Syncthing found at https://syncthing.net/ I have no experience of it but have used BitTorrent's Syncapp with success. A bit off-topic but I think it could interest some of you: http://www.wolframalpha.com/ You can use it to look up words, ask if 553 is prime, compare Italy's and Sweden's coast lines.... /Martin
