I have searched for documentation for Google's text to speech software 
but have never found any.  If anyone knows where to find some, please 
let us know.

It wouldn't shock me if Google has the ability to recognize spelling on 
command.  If so, you could say "N" "I" "K".  But I haven't found any way 
to make that happen.  It would be useful if there were a command like 
"Google Spell" that would start a spelling mode and "Google Spell Stop" 
to stop it.

I have seen Google interpret words like "comma", putting in an actual 
comma "," instead of the word, but I can't find any documentation on 
what punctuation or special characters they support with what words.

My guess is that they tinker with this stuff all the time and purposely 
don't document it so that they're free to change it whenever they want, 
but it's maddening to not be able to do what you know voice recognition 
could do if they made small changes to support it - or maybe it actually 
can do it now, but there's no way to find out how.
