T-Mobile are peculiar. I live in Spain. I bought a SIM card on Amazon prior to travelling to Canada. Turned out once there that they would not accept any of my cards for payment. They told me to go to a physical shop — but there is none in Canada. Google said some Ottawa shop that was in the USA. (!). I had to buy a card from ATT Canada instead.
