For all practical purposes, you quit caring when you approach the
repeatability of the diameter of a cotton ball measured with calipers (or,
for aerodynamic purposes, the effect of a mouse-fart in a hurricane). In
real world use, I always had more use for a gauge that read to the
resolution of the input and spent many hours educating students about the
difference between "precision" and "accuracy".

And the difference between systematic and measurement errors too, I
hope.

The Android calculator app I use reports 0.
Now, how do I tell if that is accuracy or rounding?

The OS X 10.9 calculator returns -0.00000000016136, which is close
enough to zero for our purposes.

A calculator for the OS X Dashboard returns 0, which of course could
be rounding.

Orpie for various Unixes returns 5.698552740796e-12.
