Wow, because Microsoft has so relentlessly been anti-Free-Software I didn't even bother to check the license. Amazing! Still the patent issue looms. I suppose the only way I wouldn't suspect that it is a Trojan Horse is for them to assign the patents to a neutral third party like the Apache Foundation.

Agreed, that would be quite reassuring. I'll stick to my Perl and C++ for the moment.
