"ZeeNews, which claims to be India's largest news network with 140
million viewers, has this morning received the ultimate punishment
from YouTube. The network's account has been terminated following
"multiple third-party notifications of copyright infringement" and
that could mean there's no hope of a recovery."

Just goes to show you that relying on a for-profit web site in order to
accomodate your business is pretty dumb. Why can't ZeeNews get their
own computer and host video on there?

People seem to think that Youtube (and Facebook and Twitter and so on)
is some sort of resource created for the public good. Why they delude
themselves into believing this is beyond my ability to comprehend.

Thank goodness for Usenet!
