It's a small community so far but I have been very pleased at the level of civility, the wide range of opinions and the intelligent commentary displayed by this group so far - and we've only been at it for half a week. I haven't had to killfile anybody or apply any rules thus far, which in the old frontier days of Usenet (even before the Eternal September) would have been unheard of. If we can keep this up more people will come. Gold stars and virtual beers for everybody!

Well said...5 Rabbit Gringolandia Series: Fabulosa Porter is an excellent ale, though not well known...hard to find in the UK (it's a craft ale from Chicago)but worth the search. I'm pleasantly surprised that you knew of it.

I'd buy one while they are available. Pretty good but also quite expensive, so it's just one of those one-offs for me.

As a devotee (somewhat) of Brouwerij Van Steenberge, I've been waiting for my local Liquor Mart to get the new one in. Regular ol' Gulden Draak is great, but it'll never supplant Guinness as my number one beer.
