International Currency Symbol. I don't think I ever saw it used, despite
working for banks for over 20 years. Everyone uses the ISO 4217 currency
codes;

I always thought of it as the asshole symbol. It's the designer who
wanted his picture in the layout.

I meant to say something about the awfulness of the Finnish layout for
us engineer types but I guess I didn't. Even weirder is how strongly
people cling to the various bad national layouts but I guess that's
human.
